My predictions: Eddie, Jan Marie, you and hopefully me will promote
Question is in which positions we will finish and who would decide to remain for another season in Rookies
Will your driver remain with you after several races?

I think Mr Arkls will be promoted.
Yes I will lose him soon, I screwed up there so will have to train another

Arkls would stay in rookies, I'm afraid with this amount of negative cash, would be glad if I'm wrong though

W/o a proper driver life in amateurs can be really tough...

I guess randoms appears two types - easier - random w.o broken car part and harder when a car part is involved - "helmet" is an easier one - although most annoying one

first overall place is very good but it doesn't mean much - with previosly some of your and others randoms its just a provisional 1st. same can happen with me anyday. there where times when I've got 3 races in a row with randoms...

Andy got top-100 car in Rookies (however with some financial edge, same like Alessandro), Jan Marie got the best money position, I've got some handicap (+10 for promotion zone), you and Brian are both steadily getting points... as this is a marathon game - last third in marathon is the hardest one :)

anyway - today is Alessandro's race - gl to everyone!!

the competition is quite close one - and while I still don't believe in Lauris promotion - he is getting out of $ trouble meaning new car and strong finish in some races, and vice verse - some of us saving money for a hard times in Ama might never see that Ama at all :)
it would be really interesting to see the final races.

I'll put my bet on 75. But it doesn't includes what are the plans of managers - someone may jump into minus on purpose to try another season here... and that cannot be predicted... and what do you think?

I actually was hoping it would be nearer to 50 early on on the sason as I had that last year and would have been promoted but went negative to stay down for another year. As you say, it is very close now and there are a few others joining the party so I think we need to push more. I hope a couple will go negative as my dad wants to be promoted. I am covering him for a couple of races now in holiday mode so it is my fault if it all goes wrong!!!! :o)

hehe... :)
well - to anyone who would like to stay here for longer - I just can warn that going +50 points would reduce their next season funds.. so there is no need to push after 50 if someone is not going forward.
personally I didn't decide yet what to do before Barca - to push or to wait and see how the things would develop...however its better to be prepared for the worst scenario - and 75 would be that case :)

btw - we are racing against each other in 1/2 cup :)

didn't expect to get 1-0 lead at all... weird race with 1 stop always sitting behind everybody else and having 12th best lap in group but still on podium...

and I guess Lauris is back to podium fight places for the next 3 races at least

My fuel calcs were out by 1 lap so I needed a splash and dash at the end, resulting I losing 2nd spot.

yeah - during the race I thought you got first short stop but then the gap between plan/real pit-laps was wider
that gave me at least a chance to fight vs you. my 3lvl car is not giving much power to push in good pace.

You are doing well with a level 3, will you upgrade to 4 or 5 ready for AMA? I guess we will need a level 5 to be competitive?

yes, +4th level would be nice - but having some advantage of 10 points for promotion place (before previous race) I've decided to save some money, now when gap even grew after Barca - I'll just defend top-4 position.
that is why your cup win still looks more real even with 0-1 currently.

I'm hoping it would last 1/3 of race - that would be perfect scenario... but as always it will finish a bit earlier creating an additional pit right before finish lap :)

thanks! +200 races gave a big advantage in close battles

this is a very good and competitive season for the whole our group of active managers - 6 different race winners, small point gaps in a top of the group and even 75 75 points might be not enough to promote

next season would be very hard in terms of finance - wears are extremely high - it would be a mind game of finance first of all for everybody
