Wll I have did my practice laps and I have a bug..

In the first lap I put AAA in my engine...The driver didnt say any comment about that.

Second lap: BBB in my engine..The driver compleins about that saying Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

Third lap: CCC in my engine...the same...Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

Fourth lap: DDD in my engine..The same...Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights .. Here it makes no sense due with AAA my driver didnt complain about more engine power and with DDD needs more ...really???

So next lap (5ª)I tryed and put less power just I wanted to try what happens so I´ve put in the engine EEE...Same commetn(what a surprise) Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

Sixth lap: Trying with more engine power FFF..same thing Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

Seventh lap: GGG same thing Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

Eight lap: HHH in my engine ..same thing ...Engine: I feel that I do not have enough engine power in the straights

So I really thing it is a Bug...

First lap AAA and no complains about engine power and eight lap complainig about engine power with HHH...

Now I havent got clue what to do..if make my Q1 with AAA or put more than HHH in my engine...

Any advice

No direct numbers in the forums...

And I can't believe AAA was good and CCC was too low ;)

Firstly, no exact numbers in the forum please.

Secondly, did you do any testing during the process of calculating your setup? How about part replacements?

The only thing I would advise is to send screenshots to an Admin.

E: That's if it's not any of the above, or other explanation which would lead to this problem.

You're in Pro and if you've got this problem, something is seriously wrong here. If it's a bug, gotta let the admins now, because the numbers and your comments don't seem right, like Michal said.

recheck again if you missed something....did you take any action between practice laps?

check again carefully if you see engine complained in lap 1 (i know i know to make this stupid mistake and oversee comment till its too late).

This can happen if you have a TD with high R&D skills ;) Maybe the happy range is too negligible , it happened with me as well last season .

Not too sure , but i do not think it is a bug ;)

True but I doubt the driver would be happy with one setting, and using a higher setting would want more power, it should be the opposite if it is outside the happy range.

I thought of that too, but he got same commentary both decreasing and increasing the value, which makes no sense. I think what Michael pointed might be the problem, testing or part replacement in between of the practice laps. That or he misread the commentary when he started using values over AAA :O

I think he should re-check his Practice laps , as i think he might have missed something ;)

Either that .. or seems your driver is too drunk to drive :P

I guess just go higher than the highest value you put in, shouldn't be too much higher I wouldn't have thought (depends on the change really), but good luck :P

By training you mean training the driver or practice laps? Because you cannot train your driver while being in negative money.

EDIT

I see you're posting from the phone. If you have an Opera-Mini browser, this might apply to you.

Quote ( Vladimir Alexandrov @ June 13th 2013,16:00:48 )

From the announcements:

Starting Season 11 GPRO will no longer allow practice laps and Q1 laps to be made using the Opera-Mini browser. You will still be able to do anything else using Opera-Mini (login to watch race, make market bids, etc.).

I had a similar problem to Jesus Brea's. Once i was doing Testings in Season 35 (Kaunas). In one run (Setup tuning) he said he's satisfied with the Gear settings with the value X. In the next run, he said he's very often in the red with the SAME gear setting X and i should put it higher. After that, i increased the value to X+2 and he was satisfied, then with X+1 he was complaining again.

here the summary:
Run A, Value X: good
Run B, Value X: too low
Run C, Value X+2: good
Run D, Value X+1: too low

I'm pretty sure i was not changing any parts between them. All parameters like priority, laps and fuel were equal. It was also in Rookie, so no TD or something.

Definitely not a bug. Rather luck, that you FOBYed something (even if you don't know yet what is it :-D)
