It appears as if Caio is gearing up for promotion next season.

Another frustrating day for Edoardo Franchi but I will watch the Savio / Illan battle with interest.

Robert Tyre probably because he had run out of the pit on the last lap

Best of luck to Rafal and César in their first pro session, and happy return to pro, Robert.
S39 will be interesting, with Caio, Edwin (not me, but Agaba), Ilian and probably Savio fighting for the promotion.

And whoever falls here after relegation aswell.

Maybe, maybe not. If I were a relegating manager from pro, I'd hire a driver with slightly above 110 OA shortly before relegation with a 17+17 contract, drop his moti and start amateur with a no moti ~110 OA driver, using the first amateur season for rebuilding (assuming the bad pro campaing left me in poor sponsor and money conditions) and the second amateur season for a cheap promotion with the driver already in +140 OA. But who knows, everyone has his own technique.

At season's end I'll tell why I went for promotion,
You seem to have overcome several r nd ms on your way, but now is the time right?
The reason I promoted this season is simple, it wouldn't have been cost effective at all to sandbag as much as I would of needed to with a level 7 car.
Should of had 30 million more in funds starting the last round than I did if it weren't for the type of random I had then a missed race. Remember I started the season with 13 million so promotion was the way to go.

Never seen so many parked cars for a last race !

congrats to the guys going up. Let's hope we meet again in PRO and not in Amateur :).

Best of luck to everyone this season.

Welcome to the jungle newcomers \o/
I see we get a lot more promoted and only one demoted once again.... Another interesting season ahead of us guys.

Good luck everyone. Caio and Illan will mop the floor with us, but I hope to do some consistent top 10 races. And for the love of god, please don't let me win any race; my driver has a huge win bonus.

Good luck everyone. On previous season I participated on rookie and finished on 6th position, so I haven't a good car, and no good pilot but I will try to stay on Amateur. It will be very difficult but at least I will gain experience on gpro ;)

I think this will be the first "real" season for this group, I expect fierce competition therefore I do not know what to expect. The real contenders, I would would include you in here Edwin, spent most of past season preparing for this, so it will be ugly...
On the other hand it is guaranteed to be fun, this is a very nice group.

Thanks, Savio, but I'm not promoting this season. My current driver is better than the last one, but he is too old. I'm hoarding sponsors instead, so my goal is top 6, but no promotion.

You might not promote Edwin, but I am sure you will be up there...

I can't allow myself to win a race. Well, I can, but I rather not. Good thing is Caio, Illan and you are very well armed, so besides wet races, I don't think I have a chance to win any race with zero/low risks.

My driver is loaded on talent so I can take the wets out of you, as long as you don't block me the whole race like the last one :P

I still don't understand what happened in that race, Caio. Effectively, I blocked you almost the whole race and I knew my suspension wouldn't last until the end, so I was positive you were going to overtake me. However, for some reason from laps 50 to 70 I started making a gap. It wasn't setup related, because my setup was for 33º (I wanted my first stint to be quicker so to make sure I was ahead after the 2nd stop of the 2-stoppers) and in these laps the temperature was very high, average 41º. Since the weakness of my driver is that his stamina is still quite low, I expected you to be very close to me until my car started smoking or even to overtake me before that. Nonetheless it was a very good race for we both, because I think you also used 0 CT risks in that race. :)

You hit the nail in the head there, 0 risks on a hard overtaking track, not a good combo. Still if you had broken down one lap sooner I'd get it hahaha. Not a big deal though, wouldn't make much of a difference anyway.

Quote ( Caio Rebouças @ November 12th 2013,14:07:31 ) 0 risks on a hard overtaking track, not a good combo. That's relative. High risks in a hard overtaking track may be very bad. In that race I blocked quite a few guys who were using higher risks for nothing. You were an exception, but at some point in the race I had a +10 cars train behind me, some of them using risks for nothing.

It was very close. I calculated my suspension to be at 99% around laps 69-71 and there it was, smoke right at lap 70. To be honest, I was wanting you to overtake me because I didn't know if Robert had enough fuel (his first pitstop was on lap 35) and I didn't want to win, so I was in that weird real-time watching race situation around lap 65: "Smoke, stupid suspension, smoke!". It was fun.

Thought to say, but I do believe there are VERY different strategies for the race today.
I can say I made a bet, which might pay off or not, the race results will tell.
Good Luck to all.

Thanks, Savio. I'm positive you will win unless there are some super high riskers today. I will be happy with a top 5, but I don't know if I will be able to; my qualys were horrible.

I am not THAT confident on victory hoping for a good result though, as for yourself I am quite sure you keep lowballing us... When we least expect there will be you ahead of everyone else.

Nah, Savio, I'm not bluffing. My driver rocks in rain condition, but in dry races he isn't good enough yet. He lacks of stamina and he is very fat. I hired him because I got him cheap and because this season will be awful to get a new driver due to the high number of incoming new managers in amateur. Besides, with 3M win bonus, believe me, I don't want to win. :)

WOW what? 3M win bonus? hahaha Can you lower the bonuses afterwards? during extension that is. You threw a curveball at your opponent bidders there lol.

You had the exact same strat as me lol and we both got screwed on the very same way, only difference between us is that I probably used more risks which made me perform better in the long run... Though, if your low risks (0 or very close to it I'm thinking) made you able 2 stop it on x-softs you'd gotten that 2nd place.
