Topic: Large Motivation Loss From Training |

I've applied driver training a couple times this season and both times my driver has lost 80+ points to his motivation (coupled with the expected gain of a few points in the target training attribute).
The first time he lost 88 points, but I wasn't sure if the training was the cause (I just happened to notice it after training). After he had gained back half of that in the next race, this latest training he again lost a large amount. It was definitely the training that did it this time.
Is this expected behaviour from training? Paying money to gain a few points in certain categories at the expense of huge chunks of Motivation seems to make it questionable. Or is this a rookie penalty for using training at all? Or is it a random thing that I happened to get slapped with twice?
Thanks for any help.

There is one type of training that has that effect and now you know which one it is. :)
It's normal, nothing unusual.

Tech training isn't necessarily the most useful training in rookie anyway ;-)

Motivation is by far the easiest category to gain points in. A good race finish in Rookie will easily pick up 50+ points.

Quote ( Kevin Mcferrin @ November 21st 2013,17:12:15 ) Motivation is by far the easiest category to gain points in. A bit of a sweeping generalisation methinks; whilst it may be true in the lower groups, gaining motivation points in the higher groups is nigh on impossible.

I realized that just after I hit "post reply", but figured that it was accurate enough for his situation.
