It's a good way for muggers to find targets now. They should call it Pokemon GANK!

It's only a matter of time that the pedophiles catch up to the muggers.

I must admit I'm enjoying it, but can already tell I won't last on it for long.
Too many people that live in the right places etc and get a massive advantage, too the point that even if I dedicated a day to it I wouldn't be able to compete for gyms etc.

The joys of living on the outskirts instead of more central lmfao :/

My dog has never been happier hahaah (Yes, I'm a bad person I should've already been taking her for walks)

"Dad, I caught a corpse, are they rare?"

Gotta feel for the murderer, leave a body in a deserted place only for it to become a pokestop or gym.

Still not available in Canada and I don't feel like trying to use the way around it. I can wait and anyway, I don't plan on wasting my data on that. I just wanna try it. :)

I'm not sure why, but mine barely uses any data at all, in the week and half or so I've had it used about 118mb. I have other apps that have used 5-6 times that in much less time. Maybe because there isn't much around me? Must only really start chewing data if your in a dense area.

I just figured it would use a lot since it's like a GPS, but if it's not that bad, I might give it a more serious try. :)

A lot of people are saying it chews it like crazy, and they download local maps from googlemaps to reduce the load, but I havn't had any such problem but as I say I'm not in a dense area, I have next to nothing around me in terms of gyms and pokestops so perhaps that is why I dont use much.

I currently live within a mile of the largest university in the United States, (Ohio State University), with nearly 55000-60000 students all living in a fairly small area.

Its become a huge thing here, with hundreds of students gathering at locations and pokestops throughout the entire day. Its actually bringing strangers together and creating conversations, which has been really neat to experience.

Some people spend all day playing GPRO, others play Pokemon. :)

This does sound a bit worrying though: http://adamreeve.tumblr.com/post/147120922009/pokemon-go-is-...

As it turns out, the users (and their data) are the Pokemon, the company wants to catch 'em all, and the app itself is nothing but a lure ;)

Yeah, **** people who have spare time, people are made to work 18 hours a day and sleep 6 hours.

As I've seen it, some people who go to work do play this game and/or games in general. Your image on what people should use their time on is yours, no need to tell anyone else what to do.

Anyhow, this game seems interesting, I played it for 5 minutes and saw no other pokemons around me except the starter and got bored because I couldn't try out the combat mechanics without cycling/walking 10km's.
