Yes. Though I'm likely to start the game with 3 tribes to get the game moving at the start and eliminate some players faster. Possibly even 4 if we have a full field of 20 players. 16-20 is desired. I've got a decent startlist already.
How's it going?

I was thinking about a tournament where players would compete by playing fairly simple and quick flash games I choose, grouped in categories. Who can run farther, climb higher, survive longer, complete the game in the least amount of time/tries, get highest score, etc. for victory in a single game, category and overall. Is that something you might be interested in? Would like to know before I plan properly.

I also know where you keep your treasure, gya-ha-ha!

Not sure if it should just be simple or add some strategic choices like some jokers increasing your score in a game you're not good, stuff like that.

I think it would be nice to add some twists, as well how do you plan to check the scores? Screenshot is enough or are you gonna use games where there is a leaderboard?

Yeah I think screenshot should be just fine. I think I'll keep it simple in the end, don't know the possible scores people can get to mess with some boosts/penalties. There's going to be several different leaderboards so everyone has a chance to win something even if they're behind in overall table.

Any tips/ideas, maybe we could co-host it.

Also my idea was to keep it as simple as possible, picking a game, setting a deadline to submit the scores, and then do the standings.

I was thinking a simple point system for top scorers 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 or whatever.

Team Standings? not sure if that is possible, the better player could just send the other his 2nd best score.

Regarding the Joker, it should give a little advantage but not too big, also cause score gap may vary from game to game.

All right! I'll PM you.

I'd need a second/third opinion on which games are okay. Anyone give me a shout if you want to try.

BB3 could be interesting, you did a NASCAR game while in the 1st one which I thought was quality. Duck shooting's a personal favourite though :P

You mean the Route 66 Rat Race ?
EDIT : Oh, you mean the NASCAR game in BB. Can't even remember how that worked. :o)

There's so many to pick from :
- Escape from Atlantis tactical RPG, 2nd edition
- Duck Shooting Gallery 2
- Route 66 (Rat) Race, return to the basic version without weapons
- Outbraking, restart
- FootGolf 2
- GPROlympics, my take on it
- Silly Games RPG (see #1017, #1021 & #1028 in this topic)
- Big Sports Challenge during the Olympics
- V4P (the game in which you had to promote people & then vote them for president or not)
- HIT List, but not on music charts then
- the Fantasy Tennis game I had fully ready, but never started
- the Zombie game I had in mind for quite long, Carriers : The Plague
- actually continuing the Cycling Tour game
- continue the Say Anything creativity game
- another try at Cube RPG, but simpler than ever before
- or perhaps the BattleStar Galactica RPG, though I didn't see how Bruno's worked
- the (Sumo) Wrestling game, which works as an advanced Rock-Paper-Scissors and that I like to try VERY much
- and even more I can't think of right now

If only the president of GPRO would hire me full time, so I could give up my job for all this. :-D

Just went through this whole thread, and I can't believe it's almost 5 years since I created it. In the meantime, so many plans came up, but over half of them didn't even get started or didn't continue after phase 1. :( I wonder where all this time went into.

But now I'm back to give it another try. And perhaps I could take off with a simple forum reworkment of a card game I played last week, being Olympicards : http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/118953/olympicards

Would there be any interest in a Minecraft like game with a 40x40x10(lxwxh) map? It would be last man standing game.

Apparently there was no interest for that last game but at the moment I'm working on something else, which will be a racing game.

Some details:
- 200km races
- Setup 6 different parts of the car
- Fuel usage and tyre wear included
- Unique (as far as I'm aware) overtaking code
- Two tyre choices, both must be used in the race (like F1)
- Risking, means bigger chances for overtakes, bigger chance to be faster but also to make mistakes, and also bigger chances for race-ending crashes.
- Will feature a nice selection of tracks that are not commonly used :)

Tell me what you think and if you have any tips.

Another game I was thinking of but haven't really worked out yet is making a map where we get 'x' different countries who all start with a few blocks (depending on how many people per country). Those people would be able to buy neutral land, fight rebels who can be in the neutral land. The ultimate goal to achieve is obviously to conquer the whole world.

Shouldn't be too much for you, rather for me :) But I'll just take it easy and not try to do too much at a time.. + It's far from 100% ready yet, though the base is there ;)
