Aww pis.s just did the qualifying for MonteCarlo, nothing wrong with that, just forgot to add blo.o.dy rain tyres... unfortunately. Does qualifiying actually influences anything in the final result ??

Unfortunately yes. Especially on tracks with very hard overtaking, like Monte Carlo.

It influences where you start on the grid and therefore influences the race and final position.

Race earnings are based also on driver qualifying position.

Race earnings are based also on driver qualifying position.

Though... in rookie there are generally ~15 cars in the grid, and the earnings difference between grid position is minimal, so in that respect the effect is quite limited in rookie

On Monte Carlo it doesnt really influence the race itself, it is simply the race result

This is a common mistake at beginings, don't panik, it's just one race 👍
Now, with à Q1 on dry tyres, you will probably start from rear of grid, and on this track who is one one of the must difficult to overtake, you have probably nothing to expect...

Just learn about your mistake

Depending on what tyres you chose (*cough* HARDS *cough*) you could still gain several positions with a 1-stop. Haven't calculated if the tyres would last though.

Also, what is it about Monaco that spawns several new threads about Qualy tyres?
