Sorry guys - I have left this a little late so this will have to be done pretty quickly to get in and score from the beginning but I play this game on-line already with another team .

You will have $70M to spend and have to choose 2 cars and 2 drivers within certain restrictions. (Hope the link is ok and not banned- shouldn't be)

https://realityf1.com

As I said it is a little late as the season starts 15th March but F1 Reality details have only just been published

It is not run by me but by the site itself - I will just be the league owner for GPRO, so if you are interested just post Join

I shall post the code for joining as soon as I have sorted out my team which will be this weekend.

Here is a snippet from the rules. Have not checked yet if they have changed or not but will let you know.

A player must select two drivers and two cars within a budget of £70 million. Players cannot choose the same driver twice but may choose the same car. A player must also select a pit stop strategy.

Points are awarded according to the performance of the components of your team at each Grand Prix and your team performance in Reality F1

Championship points will be awarded at every race of the 2018 Formula One season. You are strongly encouraged to register your team before the first race of the season: Australian Grand Prix (23rd March 2018). Teams registered after the start of the season will be eligible for entry into the championship and can join leagues but will not be awarded points from any races they have missed.

Points system - Any driver making it out of the first qualifying session will receive 5 points.

Grid position - Points are awarded for the first ten positions.

Pos Points
Pole 12.5 points
2nd 9 points
3rd 7.5 points
4th 6 points
5th 5 points
6th 4 points
7th 3 points
8th 2 points
9th 1 point
10th 0.5 points

Race - Points are awarded for the first ten positions.

Pos Points
1st 25 points
2nd 18 points
3rd 15 points
4th 12 points
5th 10 points
6th 8 points
7th 6 points
8th 4 points
9th 2 points
10th 1 point
Additional points

10 points for finishing race, as classified by FIA irrespective of position.
5 points for fastest lap.
3 points per place for places made from grid position.
1 point is deducted for every place lost from grid position.

Most importantly: Drivers must finish to score points from the race (including fastest lap points). However, you will still gain qualifying points, if applicable. Retirements are not eligible for point deductions due to lost places except where a retired driver is still classified as a finishing.

In modern F1 strategy is everything, therefore 10 points are awarded for selecting the same pit stop strategy as the winner of the Grand Prix.

That is about it in a nutshell. I played it most of last season in someone else's league and really enjoyed it, so thought I would create my own league for GPRO this season

If you enter a F1 Reality team, you will automatically be entered into the GPRO league I have set up unless you opt out but if you wish to join my league, then just let me know and I will send a joining code number for you

Just received this message from them so I shall send out reminders for those that have played in the past

Congratulations, your league "GPRO F1" will run this season

One way to join is for a player to log in to Reality F1, they can then access the 'My leagues' page, select 'Join a league' and then enter the following invitation code into the box on-screen:

Enter this code: e9e7JmHjpMe2Sr

Anyone wishing to join a league will need to have created a Reality F1 team for this season before they try and join the league. There is no longer a restriction on when a player can join a league and they can join at any time during the season even if they have missed some races.

So basically anyone wishing to play, join on the main site first and then join a league

League Name : GPRO F1
League Code : e9e7JmHjpMe2Sr

I will see you there

I have not looked into it properly but I believe it is due to start again soon but I think it is only going to be 4 races

3rd and 10th July at Red Bull Ring and then

17th July at Hungaroring and lastly

31st July at Silverstone

Think there might be some close points with just 4 races

Sorry guys - with Covid-19 and retirement caused by redundancy ---- I have been a little pre-occupied and not given this as much as I should have done. Good job I don't run it.

pretty easy for you see anyway but thought I would put these up - I'm coming for you Mr Willmore
