Did you offer for Ronnie Giunti, accidentally removed that offer and then offered again?

No, you did not hire him. But those withdraws are money for offering contracts. That's why my question.

Ruslan, have you discussed how the driver market/bids work with your team?

This section of the rules is relevant - 3.3 Making staff offers and staff decisions (markets):

"You can make up to 4 offers before each staff decision but keep in mind every offer costs at least $500.000 (depending on the type of offer) and to change an offer you will need to remove the old one and make a new one costing you additional money."

It looks to me like you made some contract offers, cancelled them and offered some more (which all costs money). Then on the Offers page (that Peter mentions above), you either had Patrick Rayhall as top priority or missed out on your other preferred options.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at that economy history. You've spent all of your money on driver offers :-( It's a good idea to have some back up offers, but next time try to be sure who you want to bid on and stick to it!

First of all, you may want to read this:

/gb/ViewAnnouncements.asp
Upcoming changes to sponsors and staff offers Author
With the reset at the end of the current season we are going to implement some changes to sponsor contracts and staff markets. New sponsor contracts which are put on hold and not accepted will have an expiry clause (decided by the sponsor), so they will cancel the contract if it is not accepted after a certain amount of races or on relegation of the team to a certain level. Further more staff offer prices will become dynamic and increase in stages in the last hours prior to staff decisions. This means the longer you wait to put in an offer for a driver or technical director, the higher price you will have to pay for it.

This means that those money differences you see in the bid placement prices are related to the time when you placed the bids. Cancellations have always been for free, it's new bids which cost money, and the money they cost vary with the time of the placement.

you pay it just when you bid not when you cancel and no other things ( bonus etc ) withdraw from your balance. And this is not a bug read this https://wiki.gpro.net/index.php?title=Staff_Markets

No. You pay $500,000 to OFFER a contract. Once you've placed the offer, that 500k is gone and you can't get it back. You can cancel for free, but then you have to pay $500,000 again to make a new offer (either to the same driver or a different one).

That $500k increases the nearer you get to the deadline (hence why your offers to Giunti were more).

The only additional costs are the signing bonus to the driver that actually accepts your offer.

I guess that explains it, you made one offer for the driver, removed the offer, and the made an offer again.

Offer's prices increase while we get closer to the market deadline.

Your first offer was at 14:11, at that time making an offer costs 1.000.000
Your second offer was at 15:00, at that time making an offer costs 1.500.000

And no, removing an offer doesn't cost you anything, it's free.
