Alex - surely you can just wait until the games are rescheduled and then make your 1st choice at that time? You will know which game is in which order and make your choice at that point.

As Ivelin says, conditional picks aren't fair to allow you to do that - as no-one else was given that luxury during the rest of the season.

No one else had to deal with this unfair disadvantage during the whole season but me...

You put yourself in this situation by not making optimal picks though :P

I get to make different picks as the ones above me, to leave a way open to win the league. This has not been an advantage for me, as their picks were more favorable and now im getting punished for playing the game and trying to win despite this disadvantage?

You aren't being punished - you're playing to the same rules as everyone else. You have to pick a team before the game week deadline. Why should it be any different for you? Just because the fixtures have fallen a certain way doesn't change that basic rule.

How about we give him a 2-1 loss for Watford for making up a team name in W14, so he has to choose Norwich :D

You want to cheat? Read the rules, how about we remove you from the game in an attempt of not reading the rules and making stupid comments...

I feel sorry for Ivelin.
it’s a game and he puts so much into this for all of us.
just stick with whatever rules he brings in.
there are no conditional picks. Full stop. He has said it is too much work and would open up a can of worms.
does it really matter ? As Mike said, it’s just a fun forum game!

Ivelin thank you for all the hard work you put into making this game great. I have had fun even though my picks have generally been terrible. Looking forward to next season! Happy holidays!

I would also like to thank Ivelin for all the hard work he puts into his silly games and making them great(this goes for all the silly games hosts), sometimes it feels like some of the players take them for granted.

When really they give up a lot of time to run these games for no monetary reward which also help foster the GPRO community beyond just logging on doing your bits around the race and then logging back off again.

I want to thank Ivelin too for the game, although he supports Arsenal so that ruins everything though :P

And if you really want to win Alex, I will happily forfeit my matches just so you can be happy :)

STANDINGS AFTER WEEK 19 (incomplete)

https://i.imgur.com/1t4mYdh.png

Here is how the standings look after a few of the postponed matches played.

@Alex Martez (R4) maybe now you can make your pick?

@Sudeep Pednekar (R23) if you ever come back, you still have possible picks. :)

With Norwich not among the options anymore i will pick the only remaining option for me...hope nobody will have a problem with this?

W18: the team that is among the ones i have left and is yet to play in W18
W19: the team that is among the ones i have left and is yet to play in W19

A very very very way to finish this season,.

p.s. what did Norwich do in W18 & W19?

For W18, your only choice is Aston Villa.

For W19, your choices are Wolves and Watford who play each other. Jun has chosen Wolves so the only logical choice for you would be Watford.

Meanwhile, the promotion/relegation situation is now resolved. Badshot Lea are the only team to relegate from the PL. Newcastle, Weymouth and Arsenal are promoted and Manchester United are going up too thanks to Nottingham's inability to complete the season and the signing up for the new one.

Yes thats all good for me!
I cant get relegated anymore so every goal and every point is one for the team haha :)

I've seen more surprising results this season than Watford beating Wolves on the road, so for sure worth the try...
