I will place this here. Recently I was unable to create table in team forum using BB codes. It looks like its ignoring [tr] tag. For example this should be table with one header row with 3 columns and 2 rows:
[tr] Header 1 | Header 2 | Header 3 | [tr] Content 1 | Content 2 | Content 3 | [tr] Content 4 | Content 5 | Content 6 |
|
|
|
From looking at the source code of this forum page, I believe you might not be closing the tr tags properly. The source code has </a> tags where it should have </tr> tags.
Edit: I just experimented and got the same result as you. [tr] tag is not parsed, [./tr] tag is parsed into a </a> tag. Bug indeed.

There are some issues with table tag that were fixed for open forums, but remain unresolved for team forum and PMs. Let me see if I can get someone to solve those (Jukka was at it and he retired/stopped login in), and I'll release the Forum Edition Resources guide I've been preparing, including full version of the table tag.

Great! Such guide would be perfect, now I am just guessing. Some BB codes works, some not. For now table fixing would be enough :)

That'd be cool too to make our own colour on Team Forum's. I've been trying that for so long, but it never work :(

Something that has bugged me since season 61...
Track information has "Race distance: 312.8km" but there should be a space between the last number and a SI unit. So that should be written as "312.8 km". Same thing in "Time in/out of pits: 19.5s" where there is also a space missing.

Special thanks to Vlad, who finished the job Jukka started fixing the bugs the Table Tag had, and Jukka himself of course. Credits to Gulf Porsche Racing and Jaguar Racing for being sources in my research. The job they did FOBYing codes was very valuable and at least 50% of the guide content.

Quote ( Daniel Mason @ February 22nd 2019,21:55:55 ) If non-supporters are locked out of the main office during race resets, how do I have full access to the main office during the race reset without supporter status?
This isn't a problem at all then. Phew, I'm relieved to know this. I'll go fornicate myself now, kthxbai.

If non-supporters are getting access too, I want my money back!!
Oh wait, not a supporter... :)

"108174 Managers online"
Can't we just turn this into an actual online manager count? Rather than a page view count or whatever it is now

As if you still do not agree with concept of "only feed the sponsors with the answer they like to hear, not the true answer", Miel :)

my car raced 132 laps in Denmark, I can see it in race analysis, when the winner crossed the line I was on 126th lap, but in race summary I am not classified and have 121 laps 89% . Why? Can anybody explain why I lost 4.3 mln
|
|
|
It's not only the laps that you covered, but also how fast you were in those laps. The old race viewer gives the clearest view. In lap 132, you were 11 laps behind the winner. 132-11=121.

Some of my team mates are getting an error message when posting race data in our team forum. "Only 2 nested tables are allowed" while others are able to post there data no problem at all. We all use the same Excel sheet and it formats our data so we can post it in the same format and it is easy for us to review.
There are a lot of tables in it, but as far as I can see no nested tables.
It only started happening at Jyllands-Ringen, before that there was no issue and it is only affecting some. Have tried using both Chrome and IE and get the same error
EDIT: Example sent

While doing my practice lap, I accidentaly entered 529 insted of 526 in one of the setup columns. Driver's feedback was that he wasn't happy. This was my 1st mistake that came from the fact that 9 is just above 6 in numeric keybord.
My second mistake came from being once again unfocused and I ran again with the same setup without changing anything. Driver wasn't happy of course.
But my net time was faster by 0.001 in second practice lap. Is this normal? I know that 0.001 is insignificant, but it's different net time with identical setup.

Quote ( Jukka Sireni @ February 14th 2019,20:44:21 ) And I am dumb as rock but I have no idea what a 0.001s difference that looks very much like once in a million rounding bug has to do with TDs or especially rethinking. I suspect it might have to do with this, George.
Quote ( Vladimir Alexandrov @ March 11th 2019,20:11:45 ) I suggest reading how to properly use it here: Matter here is that, in order to publicly release the tag, Admins fixed several related bugs. To save forum pages from breaking, the lower hierarchy tags (trow, th, td) now CANNOT be used without a table container, for example. That fix was introduced less than a week ago, before that those tags could be used outside table tag.
You need to check the topic Vlad linked and nest the tags in the correct order to get a clean table.

Shouldn't rounding be always the same Flo? I am talking about the same setup.
I am not referring to the next practice lap where my driver was happy but not faster. This is explained with rounding and I have seen this many times till now without being in trouble to refer it.
So many times that for me that I should post as bug every time he is faster when he is happy. Lol. (Funny comment)

Quote ( George Togas @ March 11th 2019,20:54:43 ) Shouldn't rounding be always the same Flo? I am talking about the same setup. I know, that's why I linked to Jukka's comment. Click on Quote and read the discussion, but TL;DR would be a manager used same setup for 2 practice laps and had a 0,001s difference he attributed to having/not having a TD, and Jukka clarified it was a rounding error and nothing else.
Quote ( Brendon Avery @ March 11th 2019,20:58:01 ) Thanks, I'll look into it If you still cannot figure it out after checking that, post at /forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=24738&PostId=#post and I'll pick it up from there.

Thanks Flo. Like I mentioned 0.001 is insignificant. It was just something that look a little bit odd. Not a bug for sure. I knew it before post here, but I wanted to see one or more answers from someone that has seen it before me.

I would have to agree George, my OS boot start up time has increased from 15s to 19s ...nightmare :)

Since the profile update happened yesterday the report fake name button has gone, is there a new way of reporting these now besides sending messages?

In my last visit to the game I had left 2 tabs open. One of them was the Car Update page from last race. I logged today from the second tab. When I changed tab,the page auto refreshed and done a new update without asking for confirmation! Now I have updated parts that had wear less than 20 - 25 and left parts with high wear. Also since last time I had downgraded my engine, now it is one more level down. Total cost was 16 millions.
Mar 13th 2019, 23:23:11 Car parts costs: Ch(6),Ge(6),Co(7),Si(7) Today at 18:40:00 Car parts costs: Ch(6),Ge(6),Co(7),Si(7)

Additional info. It's not the first time I leave the tab open to Car Update and/or to Driver's tTraining. Never before I had such issue, not even in training where no confirmation is needed.
