So i don't know if its browser specific (chrome) or a GPRO forum thing but everytime i now backspace when i press enter and then delete, it not only deletes the new line but also deletes the last character of text of the previous line that the cursor has gone back to
It also does the same when on the last character of the line, only it just deletes the character and the line altogether but doesn't delete the last character of the previous line this with the other thing

It's GPRO thingy, I have the same issue:

Quote ( Sebastian Jóźwiak @ May 18th 2019,20:08:29 )

There seem to be a small bug when you write in the forum, you press enter to do a new line, then backspace and it erases two characters instead of one. When you write in one line everything seems ok... Also when using delete instead of backspace it also seem ok...

Hi all.

I don't know what kind of data am I allowed to add here, but I think it worth for the admin to check my last race and see if there is a bug, I think it is :)
In my opinion I should have droped the race at some point , but in the end, I haven't even smoked.

I would really appreciate a feedback on the "issue", especially the case when there is no any bug.
Thanks.

You have not be dropped of the race, but what your race Analysis says ?
You make 5 pits, do you have put Rain tyres on dry conditions ?
Or a mistake in pit refuel ?

You can also have a solvable tech problem and finish the race with no tech problem

Thank you. Makes perfect sense that it isn’t the boost lap and from a tactical point of view why people couldn’t view that.

I have gone over the ‘manual’ again. Clearly some things I totally forgot or missed.

Thanks again.

Regarding the table of all time, I have one question.
Is there any rational reason why some results are erased from this table?

My result with S68:
/gb/RaceSummary.asp?group=Amateur+-+3&Season=68&Race=11

Tables of all time:
/gb/Stats.asp?group=amateur&type=trackbestrlaps&trackId=57

Much easier for everyone if you just give the links to the pages, so we can know what you're talking about without needing to understand Polish. ;)

/RaceSummary.asp?group=Amateur+-+3&Season=68&Race=11
/Stats.asp?group=amateur&type=trackbestrlaps&trackId...

Very strange indeed...

I've just noticed a sort of semi-bug on the mailbox, but it seems nobody listed it here before, so:

When I'm using a model for my messages, if I use accents with it, the conversion gives me its HTML counterpart. In example, if I use à, it gives me à, é gives é, and so on.

Why didn't I get the earnings for completing 90% race distance ?
Lap 79, I was 7 laps behind, that is lap 72 which is just over 90%. I actually completed all 79 laps.

Yet in race summary it shows me not clasified to only 70 laps. The race clearly shows I am only 7 laps behind, not 9.

When in doubt, check the classic screen. It says that in lap 71, you were 7 laps down, but in lap 72 you were 8 laps down. And in the final lap you dropped to 9 laps down. So it was a close call.

The new race screen is always a bit misleading in this respect, because the number of laps down it shows is the situation on the lap that you are on. So when you saw the race winner cross the line, you were 7 laps down (close to 8) and you think you've made it to 90%, but then you lost a lot more time during the last few laps.

Weird, maybe not a bug, but very annoying anyway!

In Master1, when the winner passed the finish line on screen, I was on lap 72, 12 seconds from crossing the finish line to see lap 72 finished... about 7.1/7.2 laps behind the leader,, finishing over 90% of the race...
The race carried on and on screen in the new race viewer, my car broke down, just after passing the finish line to start lap 77, registering that i finished 76 laps.

However, after the race I was classified 10+ laps behind, registered to have stopped on lap 69, not finishing 90% of the race. :(

I was really happy when the race finished, I MADE IT, yeah!
only to be beaten down with the stupid race viewer bat, after the race update....

Ok, it only matters financially, whether I get the full race fee or not... But god damnit, this inconsitency mixed message needs to be fixed, so that you KNOW right away, after the race, before race update, whether you finished 90% or not.

Ingnorant rant over.. lol :):)

You do know - by looking at the OLD race screen (and then your race analysis /summary afterwards). The new race screen isn't accurate in that regard.

Yeah it is annoying sometimes. The root of the issue is that all data is registered for 100% of the race, so technically everybody completes the full race distance data-wise.

The main difference between the old and new viewer is on the old viewer, your race finishes when the leader finishes, so you're always aware that you're completing full race distance in that regard.

On the new race viewer, each race is individual. You still complete the 72 laps or full race distance, but the leader can finish way before you do. So what happened to you Atli is your leader finished X amount of time in front of you, and then you kept going until you also finished. So in that time you dropped more.

Thanks guys.

But the old race viewer show me still on track on lap 76,, Crashing out on that lap.
Just like the in new viewer.

This is very confusing to me... How both the race viewers show me finishing lap 76, but the race update shows me crashing out 10+ laps on lap 69.

You were already seven laps behind the leader on L76.

Quote ( Max Watson @ June 22nd 2019,13:44:40 )

yes, but that doesn't change how annoying this is.
You are bothering to watch a boring smoke race, where the only excitement at all, is whether you make 90% or not.

You watch your car finish 76 laps, in a 79 lap race in both race viewers! Yess!!!
But you really are technically 8+ laps behind at that point, 76+8 = 84 laps?

Basically, this really is a visual mess, in both race viewers.
If I crash out on lap 69, I don't want to watch my car make it further than 69 laps.

Normally I finish most races, so I don't have much experience in this 90% thing, even though I have been here since season 45.

But I do get it, this is because of the original design of the race engine and wont be fixed until the new engine.... Still really annoying though..
Gpro doesn't have many of these silly things, so I'll swallow my pride, lower my head and move on in Pro.

But thanks for the explanations guys. :)

I won both Elite Betting Game and Max's Top Ten this season. (I already got one season worth of supporter credits for both wins, so I am sure I have won).

I had already won EBG once last season but this is my first Max's Top Ten win. However, I did not get my Max's Top Ten Champion achievement. On the other hand, I was awarded the Elite Betting Game Champion achievement a second time (even weirder, history for that achievement shows someone else was awarded the achievement last season).

The achievement for Max Top 10 is automatically set during the reset. So you will get that later today :)

About the history: this seems to be just one season off as Roman Solokov did win EBG in S68. We will correct that maybe during the reset when we wait for the script to complete :)

I have a question: In the end of last season I had a car lvl 4, and now after the season reset my car is lvl 3. How is this possible? Did I miss something during my 4 years inactivity? :D Or is this a bug?

All car parts are the same like before the reset.

P.S. I promoted to AMA.
