For those aiming just to retention, Yoko is the tire of choice. Imo going with Badyears just for retention will harm any budget this time.

Despite that, some will go Bads because they simply don't have a proper car nor driver to match the pace from the guys already stablished in M1 or some elite relegators.

As always, Master is an interesting category :)

I don't think so unless someone with D tyres has quite a bit better package than the most BY guys or if there are not a lot BYs at all.
The problem for D tyres is that they will get outperformed by BY in cold races and by Y in hot races.
