I wanted to put Jarno Lehikoinen as 8.th but couldn't because his name isn't in elite betting :(.

Yeah I think the chances of those 2 being in top 8 in Elite this race is actually the same...

Would someone replace their names already?

Game News! - 22nd November 2008
It Came to my attention after Race 1 that the script to stop you all being able to bet after the race started failed to run for race 1, that has now been fixed and will be working for race 2, however it also meant i was able to look at the Managers who took advantage of this and placed thier bet after the deadline, may I remind you all this is cheating as it is giving you an unfair advantage. The Managers in question have all had their points and bets removed for race 1 as a warning, should this happen again anyone who places their bet after the race starts and gains an advantage over it will be banned from the game .
You Have Been Warned!.

Now I see, what could be the explanation why some managers got 0 pts after Race 1 ;)

I think there must be some bug with the game or something, just happened to saw this:

5 36. England Tom Buffham Rookie - 23 330 ( 330 )
5 37. England Tom Buffham Rookie - 23 330 ( 330 )

Double points for him? haha

Something weird is going on for me.

On the standings page, I see:

24. Steven Hill Pro - 4 330 ( 6930 )
25. Steven Hill Pro - 4 330 ( 6930 )

2 times?

I agree, it is very irritating to the eye. I would say the same for the Qualifying link.

Maybe it is like the qualifying... if a new person places there bet, then it goes all yellow!

Qualifying makes sense as it tells you that someone new has qualified, but I also agree that the Elite game highlighted sort of doesnt make sense. Specially if you cant switch it off :(

No no..qualifying thing is a very nice addition..yet, Elite betting game is an optional thing, thus it shouldn't be highlighted..unless one is taking part in it..

I can confirm that it is there to remind you to gpo and play the game, so I presume that it will disappear once you have done your predictions.

Somewhat unfortunate for those that dont take part in the game, although at least it isnt a large flashing pop-up in the middle of the screen :p

EDIT - OK, It doesnt go away once you have bet :(
