Hmm, because i have Jamaican blood, does it count for me to comment here?

Any new Americans that might find this game and need a bit of advice from someone, could PM me if they want to.
I'm now on a team where I don't have to teach so I have some time for that if you can ask nicely.
Heck, I may even answer old americans :)

I don't hate your country that much.

Bringing up a thread that had been dormant for six months to say that? There's that maturity you're so proud of. I've looked at some of your post history, and I must say you have made your mark on GPRO. I'm not sure if you are on medication, or if you should be.

Until you actually meet me, you have no moral right to judge whether or not I should do anything.

It has nothing to do with morals. I'm just concerned for your mental health.

Only in jest. I have in the past, but you have as well.

Quote ( Greg Swaney @ November 22nd 2012,04:50:33 ) USA is in the GOLD medal match in the GPRO Olympics Basketball game
Did we win, or did the Soviets get to play the last seconds over and over again until they made a basket? ;)
Seriously, I was searching the forums after just looking at the Nations cup and reminding myself how sad it is that we only have 388 people playing this game from our Country. I know F1 isn't huge here, but racing is. Sports are. And we are one of the larger countries in the world, with more free time (because we certainly don't work as hard or study as hard as many other countries do) and we can only muster up 388 people? Unemployment is near all-time highs. Someone sitting on their ass has some time to play games. I don't even have time for GPRO, but I make time.
I want to see what we can do to recruit as many new managers as possible. Any creative ideas?
The mentoring program is great for retention. The community aspect of this game is incredible for retention. But we need to drive people here in the first place. Who's got some creative energy to put behind this?

Yep. Congrats William.
On a side note, has any American scored points in Elite? The US has always been horribly underrepresented at the top of the game (I believe there was a string of 20 something seasons where there wasn't even a participant in Elite from the US), so this may be plausible.

If I can promote next season, I'll be able to score in Elite. My driver is a phenom - hand-picked by Agas. In fact, he considered dropping down to Master to sign him a couple seasons ago, but allowed me to sign him.
My issue is financial. If I can survive financially, and promote, I'll be in Elite and able to score. I won a race this season in one of the few times I was able to push. And I didn't even have a decent TD then. Now, I do. I just need to get the car back in shape (had 24th-best car when I won), and I should be our nation's leading scorer next season and promoting to Elite. But money is going to be a battle for a bit.

So I've gone from Rookie->Amateur->Pro in 1 season a piece. I'm sitting on about 5M and a lvl 6 car. My grid placement has jumped about 15 spots (with a shitty Q1). If all goes well, I should be able to retain PRO on a very small final purse. But if I do retain, next season should be a lot easier as I have a great driver.

Hey fellow Americans! How about Joining me in the GPRO Winter Olympics? /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=23047#scroll
You don't even have to be good at the forum games that will be used to conduct the event. Just come have some fun is all I ask.
:o)

Oh hey! So... what should we get for our livery?
|
|
|
I sent something other to a livery designer, just hope he responds, we need to settle on 1 livery, whatever he makes, we agree to it.
|
|
|
As long as it doesn't look too much like the australian one, or has something rediculous on it I'm down. I just don't want it to look stupid.

Well, I was Told we should use this tread for livery discussion so Let's open up the floor. Any ideas?

Bloody hell, how many threads have we Yankees invaded? Now we're dusting off old ones, too?
