echo (echo echoecho...)

Well it looks like some of you dont want me to finish the season with a win & FL then, as it looks distinctly like some people put their risks up last race.

Ah well, I will just take the money and pop off to Pro, although I would have much much preferred to stick around for another season here :(

Tumbleweed rolls by...

So was no one here for the last race then? I was out and hoped I'd already qualified for the race but it turns out i hadnt, there goes a bonus for competing in every event...

I'd rather you stuck about for another season too Gordon, you're one of about 5 or 6 from this group that actually posts!!

Well, I was here, but alas no one else was.

Its difficult to know if people just dont know the thread is here or are just not interested in posting to it :s

It is an incentive to promote though, as the group threads get busier the higher up the leagues you go :p

Last race of the season, good luck everyone, will be interesting to see who has a car left running as traditionally this can turn into a mass smoking race :p

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who don't seem to post in the group forums for one reason or another - which is a great shame.

It's the perfect place to strike up friendly rivalries, and wind up the opposition (which I do all the time!).

A quiet group forum makes things so much duller :(

And there are some people that appear to just stalk around posting after other people in any thread they find :p

Well, I decided to ramp up the risks for this race and see where it took me, and I just about got away with it, although my car was on the verge of failing me I think at the end.

Great season and congrats to the top 3 who just ran away with it. I can see this being a very tough group next season considering those who appear to have chosen not to promote this season when the chance was there for them.

Hey Gordon, a win! Did you get the fastest lap you were after though?

Well done on those who got promoted, it was never a real possibility for me. Just lacked a little bit of speed and a bigger bit of money towards the end of the season. I also think it'll be tough next year but I'm ready to put up more of a fight!

Not even close, but I ran risks that I wanted to be able to compare against pro and know I would finish the race still, and not go totally mad :p

Good thing was that my risk estimates for wear (tyres & parts) were spot on :)

yep, almost made it. Kind of glad I didnt though because I wouldn't have been in the best shape to stay promoted for long!

Should have a better season this time though! Provided i can sign the right driver of course...

David you could be considered the favourite this time around. The top 3 that got promoted were exceptional and Gordon was improving. Just depends how good these former pro racers are??

Room for much improvement.

Cheers Dean. It looked a bit doubtful on my strategy regarding fuel loads, nothing new there, but it seemed to come good. Hope i can pick up a few more wins this season!

Picking up 12 places in the race was a decent effort, tho I'm sure you'll do even better in future races

You know that you were one of the best last season so probably this season you won't have rivals
