Congratulations Armando on 1st. You were 21st on the grid, but even after 22 laps, you were still 18th. But then those on the multiple stops started to pit, and incredibly you were leading the race 4 laps later. You did your 1 and only stop while leading, coming back out in 8th place. You regained the lead 14 laps from home and was able to keep a small margin back to Alfredo for the rest of the race, winning by 4 seconds. Surprisingly, this is your first points finish for the season, retention is secured
Congratulations Alfredo on 2nd. Really a carbon copy of Armando's race with the same strategy used. Although you started a little higher on the grid, with 17th but just couldn't go with him during that first half of the race. You was able to lead the race for a couple of laps because of a delayed first stop, coming back out in 9th. You also got to 2nd with 14 laps to go but was to busy fighting off Mimmo, then chasing down Armando. You really needed a strong result here though, as you are still in the negative, but your season is safe now, as long as you can get back into the black
Congratulations Mimmo on 3rd. You were on a different strategy then the top 2, you had gone into the race with the 2 stopper plan. You started from 4th, but stormed to the lead after that opening lap. During the race you were able to lead on 3 separate occasions and you never fell any lower then 6th. I always thought the 1 stopper was the quickest strategy, but yet you nearly made this one work. If only you could have got around Alfredo, who knows if you still had the pace to run down Armando. Last 4 races in the points and really looking strong
Well done to all the others in the points
WIN: Armando Brito (first win of the season) POLE: George Togas (first pole of the season) FASTEST LAP: George Togas (third one this season) BEST PIT STOP: Sean Storteboom (first time this season) BEST OVERTAKER: Armando Brito and Dean Francis (passing 20 cars)
Started 29th Finished 9th
Amateur seemed so much easier, I’m already fed up with Pro. I did everything right for 90% of the race. Started 29th and got to 4th with just the 8 laps remaining. But no that is too good for me! A big DE then dropped me back to 8th, and of course then got passed again 2 laps from home. Zero points!!! How much motivation did I gain. A lousy 2 points, this is ridiculous.

I had to downgrade the engine for this one. Not really expecting too much here. Hopefully I can still finish in the top 20 and not lose too much motivation. I don't think it will rain but I have brought the wets along, just in case

|
|
I would be just happy if it would rain, because we don't have Badyears in group ))
|
|
|
Rain for how many laps? 3? 7? 12? All the race?
|
|
|
for me there is no rain and if there are about 10 laps, I recommend changing to rain
|
|
|
I will be very surprised to see rain , but who knows :-)

Is it going to rain or not? If it rains... Who is gambling on wets or who is gambling on dries? Ladies and gentlemen, place your bets!
We will know very soon. :)

Would be great to see Rain for 45 laps

I guess I'm hoping for rain too, despite my putrid Q1.
It turns out downgraded L4 engines aren't very quick at tracks with a Power and Acceleration emphasis.

Congratz George on a hattrick. Happy to besecond on low CTR ))

Thanks Raimonds. I was hoping on sort periods of rain as I chose dry tyres on wet. I didn't expect to win in full dry race. Plan B works better. I hope that soon I will turn back to Plan A.. congrats to you too and to Stuart for being 3rd. Tough luck for Milan. It was his turn for a random. Who's next Raimonds? ;)

Did you already had one? Didn't saw

Plan A is cruising to Master. Plan B is struggling to get to Master. Plan C is not an option. :D

Congratulations George T on 1st. There really wasn't too much between the 2 stopper on softs, and the 3 stopper on ES. You had the 3 stopper and it was great watching a terrific duel between you and Raimonds. In the end you passed him with just the 2 laps remaining, inning by just over 4 seconds. Because of this strategy you snared pole as well as the fastest lap. I was hoping for a bit of rain, just to mix things up a bit, but that didn't happen. Good to see you back in that Promotion Zone, but can you stay there?
Congratulations Raimonds on 2nd. Most ran with the 2 stopper, as you did here. Despite you running with low CT risk here, you was still able to strongly challenge George for the win. A little set back last race, your first race outside the points this season. I reckon you have this championship all sewn up already. As some-one gets close, you just push a little harder on that accelerator. Only 7 races to go and your lead is 15 at the top
Congratulations Stuart on 3rd. And once again we have a new name on the podium! You were 9th on the grid, but blew past 3 cars in that opening lap. You continued that momentum getting to 3rd with still half the race to go but the top 2 were way too strong and they were long gone. This was your second race in the points after a 5th in race 6. So your points tally for this season so far is 10 points, and I reckon that is more then enough to guarantee your return here next season
Well done to all the others in the points
WIN: George Togas (third win of the season) POLE: George Togas (second pole of the season) FASTEST LAP: George Togas (fourth one this season) BEST PIT STOP: Rangga Wiradinata (fifth time this season) BEST OVERTAKER: Francisco Avila (passing 13 cars)
Started 17th Finished 19th
I really give up on gaining any motivation this season. I have tried Spa Training, I have tried Sport Pschology Training, both give motivation a little boost but I lose it virtually next race. I have given up on this motivation caper, I will continue to build on my driver and hopefully he can get a good result in the back half of this season. If that doesn't work then it looks like one big push for R17

Rangga is running out of money - is he out of Promo fight?

Quote ( Raimonds Urtāns @ November 16th 2018,18:04:04 ) Rangga is running out of money - is he out of Promo fight? Milan is having trouble too. Given the fact that Marcelo doesn't want to promote, then Rangga is not out. Nor Milan. But the one that makes it to Master (if not both of them) will be in very bad position.
Good luck guys tonight!

But Rangga has also lost a lot of Car PHA, Milan is in little bit better shape

I hope noone has to push in Avus.
