Started 7th, finished 21th. My worst race in Amateur this season! Great! :D. Well, it was intended to be since the start... at least I made 90%

Really good, if i hadn't an malfunction I would finish at the podium. Fast laps are very nice, i'm excited for more tracks like that ...

This has been the first race in a long time running with zero risks, my engine started at 46% wear and started smoking on the last lap. I had two randoms in the race was 3rd and finished 14th. Had a blast with slipstreeming but the race was long though....

yea 2 1/2 hr race for a race that would last under an hour if u add all the times up...

Indy 500 would take close to two and a half hours. I found this race more interesting than the Indy 500.

your driver made a 5th corner? I thought the circuit had 4
Very good point. Looks like drivers are very clever. They found a shortcut ;]

Indy 500 is like about 7 hours on TV

with half of that time spent under full-course yellow, it seems
anyway, the oval experiment here on gpro didn't make much difference to me beyond having everyone going into this race as blind as I usually am. (I lost my first three season's worth of data to a computer virus) swiped my first podium of the season despite running waaay too much fuel

What did I tell you people before? We needed an oval race, and looks, many people seems to like it! Knew it was a great addition by GPRO! :)
Thanks again for adding this awesome race to the calender! That had to be one of my best races, and I won it from 23rd, as I wanted to (and stopped the race-winning machine in my group)! Now can't wait for the big one this sunday! :)

Either they overstated the potential for engine failure, or I got lucky. Wear was not unexpectedly high given the obvious implications of a race where the throttle is wide open for much of the race.
I think my piston walls have blisters.

Nah, more like Neosporin ;p

Until the mid 70s I think it was, GM used to use Sperm Whale oil to lubricate transmissions. True fact.

Bingo, you should have expected it really...

|
O lalalalalala
Oval wht the hell tooo much failss in the wearsss!!!!
|
|
|
It's probably just you not taking care of your own car, I didn't have much problems with mine! And you should have expected some different wears, this being an oval race after all.
|
|
|
Love the whining about wear. My car wore a hell of a lot less than I expected thanks to running very low risks, and has saved me from having to make some upgrades/downgrades/replacements for parts I thought I'd need to do for Mexico, thus saving me some money. Even the engine wore less than I thought it would. Mine gave up the ghost with about 12 laps to go, which was a lot later than I expected.

Yeah, thank-you. Now take it off, quickly...

Where's the option ''don't race the remaining 10 laps with 100 risks if you have passed the chequered flag two laps ago already''? It would have been useful ;(
