after a big crash in F2, this evening at 18.35 Antoine Hubert died ....
my condolences to family and friends of Antoine

A horror crash, I didn't see it live and I heard someone in the shops saying "don't watch F2 after F1", but I watched it anyway without knowing what was about to happen. I expected some big pileup but not this, not this.
I hope safety can be improved at Eau rouge and radillon. I've seen a crash there in person between GT cars, similar where a car rebounds onto the track. I hope the barrier can be moved back from the track so it doesnt angle back to the track like it does now, so no one else has this kind of crash again.

Horrifying crash indeed but it's just whishfull thinking that any such accident could ever be prevented in full. Especially in corners like this. Gravel perhaps could have...
Anyway, any fatality is one to many but on the other hand every driver in whatever motorsports knows those risks, which can be minimized but never excluded. That having said, RIP Hubert.

I saw it happening live on tv.. 1 day later I still can't delete it from my thoughts, horrifying accident!
Very good decision that the canceled the F2 races for the rest of the weekend!
