Quote ( Dean Francis @ March 15th 2013,06:14:15 ) Well David "Speed", you could also be called David "Rain Lover". Of the 1836 Q1 qualifiers who have qualified so far you sit 4th. Very impressive, I just hope we don't get too many wet races because on that form you will win by 2 laps and it would be one boring race :)
You are easily on pole on the moment, incredibly nearly 4 seconds in front of Roy who is currently sitting 2nd on the grid. We can only hope you are on the extra soft tyres and that you have very little fuel in that car of yours, but I very much doubt it!
hahahahahaha Dean, thanks for such great encouraging words :))) I was actually hoping for a wet race, to see the true speed of my driver, but will have to wait for it some other race :)
ES are not on my car, I'll leave it to be a surprize for the race ;)

Congratulations David on 1st. Winning 4 of the last 5 races, you are now starting to show your dominance in this group. From here to the season end it is now all about getting prepared for the Pros. You will promote easily and now if I was you, I would go to a conservation mode and try and build up your bank balance. I shall tell you through my experience, it is so much dearer in the Pros.
Congratulations Chris on 2nd. I wrote you off Chris after seeing you 32nd on the grid. Looks like you must have used the drys instead of the wets in Q1. But WOW, did you storm through the field or what! Passing 31 cars, an incredible feat.
Congratulations Jan on 3rd. Your best finish of the season and since race 2 this season you have been finishing each race better and better. You are certainly coming along strongly and on your current form a win is very close.
Well done to all the other point scorers especially Jean Pontelli, scoring his first points of the season.
WIN: David Habijan ( Third win from 7 races) POLE: David Habijan ( Fourth win from 7 races) FASTEST LAP: Chris O`Sullivan ( Third from 7 races) BEST PIT STOP: Roy Mitchell ( Thanks Roy, I had the second best) BEST OVERTAKER: Chris O'Sullivan ( Easily!!!)
Amazing how you can be down in one race but the very next race you are up there again and feel you can take on anyone. My best race of the season here missing out on race points by only 0.5s. A nice boost here in my driver's motivation and now I'm feeling he can be a lot more competitive. Started 13th and finished 10th.

Dean, I'm planning on using my driver till I can and secure as much points as I can with him :) after he's gone, I'll enter conservation mode and saving money :))) (yep, you read my mind, and I believe you how important that is for Pro. I wish I had Jan's bank account hahahaha) so, last 4 races of this season, you'll have different winners :))))
Chris, you did amazing job!!! Roy, I tought you would storm to the 2nd, but it seems you have different plan for the season :)))

Congratulations to the Podium and all scoring points. :)
I ran the tires too hard and couldn't get down the track to make it work. Should have used some risks other than CT.
Not planned.. so much as a screw up I have to live with.. :) One race last season and he slipped over O/A and so it goes. Too bad really, I had this driver trained to be ready for Pro in a big way.
Back to the drawing board but a different starting point. It's harder to pick a driver. with out going to training for a season.
We'll see what comes up with the drivers market on Monday. :)

Congrats David on your win

Congratulations David on 1st. What more can I say yet again another win. It's not all about speed, you must pick the right strategies too. Starting on drys and going with the 2 stopper was I believe the best strategy. Maybe next race you could give us all a minute head start, although you would probably still win :)
Congratulations Matthew on 2nd. Your best finish of the season but it may be too late to push for promotion this season. I reckon though next season you will be a very strong competitor.
Congratulations Carpentier for 3rd. No wins this season yet but you are a man of consistency. You should promote easily!
Well done to all the other point scorers!
WIN: David Habijan ( Fifth win from 8 races) zzzzzzz lol POLE: David Habijan (Fifth pole from 8 races) FASTEST LAP: Rade Sljapic (Third time from 8 races) BEST PITSTOP: S'mantha BEST OVERTAKER: Mario Tepes
Well I thought I would have been a bit more competitive here. I started on the drys in 9th spot. I was able to get up to 2nd after the rain stop and for the first time I was able to see the back of David's car. While everyone else is battling, David's driver has one arm out the window and one on the steering wheel and cruising as if it is just a Sunday drive. This guy is good! Within 5 laps though he was gone and then I just slowly fell backwards through the field. Started 9th and finished 16th

Thanks Ganesh :))
thanks again Dean for praizing me so much :))) believe me, it's all about the driver :)))
this next race should be mine again .... I would give you minute head start if I could, but you'll catch me in 5 races :)))

Driver.. ah yes I recall I had one of those. :)
Congratulations to all in the points finish. Good luck in the Sepang rain :)

Congratulations David on 1st. Just when you think you can't get any better, you step it up another gear. I noticed 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the standings all backed off this race but you still push. I reckon you should start racing conservatively now and build that bank balance up. lol
Congratulations Milan on 2nd. Equal best result of the season but since then you have definitely had a very up and down season but yet you sit only 3 points of being promoted.
Congratulations Jan on 3rd. A very slow start to the season but your last four races have all been amongst the points. Maybe making a hard push in the back half of this season for promotion?
Well done to all the other point scorers especially me, finally able to score my first race points for the season. Bring on the rain!
WIN: David Habijan (6th win from the 9 races) POLE: David Habijan (6th pole from the 9 races) FASTEST LAP: David Habijan FASTEST PIT STOP: Rade Sljapic BEST OVERTAKER: Steven Seabridge
Well I wasn't too confident in this race qualifying only 13th but my driver seemed to like the wet and was able to work his way through the field to claim my first race points of the season and finish 7th. I reckon that might just be enough to survive the cut so I will start rebuilding my bank balance for another push next season.
|
|
|
Congrats David on your win. Congrats Dean on your 7th place finish
|
|
|
I have to promote the survival and do not think

|

Congratulations to all those in the points. :)
This driver is not the equal of my previous driver.. no doubt about it :)

Quote ( Roy Mitchell @ March 23rd 2013,11:25:06 ) This driver is not the equal of my previous driver.. no doubt about it :)
I'm sorry to hear that Roy but your previous driver was probably the second best one here. This is all points towards a very even season next season. At least you are safe this season and now can spend the rest of the season training him up
|
|

He will need a lot of training hheheeheeheee
