i just looked at my random and laughed out loud
Lap 66 Your driver was not feeling well in his helmet and it had to be changed with a new one
|
|
|
I had that one on lap 8 and then had to stop for a gearbox repair on lap 55. Then my cooling system, which I was estimating to end at around 85 wear, broke on lap 71. I didn't have much luck this race.

I hate this random crap . I finished one race so far this season . every other race my car got some problem and I dropped out . I could just as well qualify last and race with the softest tires and the lightest fuel and then come lap 55 to 65 my car drops out to some problem . What the hell !!!!!!!

Are you sure they are true randoms and not technical problems related to your risks? What risks are you using?

rookies. gotta love us :p
car failures like that my dear countrymen have nothing to do with randoms but everything to do with ur decisions made for the race.

for me its actually 50% of races with randoms pbs
motor , gear box ,,wheel fixation ,, puncture ,,,brakes heat,,,, hydrolic pressure
all that with risk between 26% &30%, and a driver without aggresive
in all case i was in fight for win or podium
This is tottally disrupting any tactic , or setting , in my season , and i cannot saw any other car in my division with lots of problems like me
so where i cruse a black cat

this was the random
i was just being sarcastic, making fun of the others that complain :)

My reply was to Harry. Obviously a juniorism, damn quotes :p

no random for almost 3 full seasons had got me worried
thankfully they gave me 2 in the last 4 races :)

2 randoms in 2 races using zero CTs, jubbly you very much GPRO, way to completely jubbly over someone's season! just as well I'm not promoting!!!

I'm not sure if it classifies as a full on random, but I've had the same occur to my driver tonight.... As he has been underperforming, being sick in his helmet was the last straw!!!

It's the principle of it. If randoms are evenly spread for all players, what is the point of them? And if they are not, as 'random' would suggest, they are unfair, they can completely wreck your plans, and in extreme although by no means rare cases cause you to have to ditch your driver and start again, utterly utterly disproportionate effects!!

Sick in helmet is a full on random...probably the most legitimate one of the lot.
Quote ( Josh Clark @ April 13th 2013,00:26:11 ) So then why do you care?
not promoting doesn't mean you don't care though...

Quote ( Stuart Foster @ April 13th 2013,00:29:12 ) not promoting doesn't mean you don't care though... I've had 4 this season. One from the lead. I'm not promoting and I don't really care. Perhaps I'm different, but I don't see how it could be so annoying as to curse the game :P

Everyone can complain about randoms and I have done my fair share.
But look at the best of the best. They never complain about randoms and always seem to make it to Elite no questions asked and without much difficulty. So I think you would need a stupid amount of randoms too make too much of a difference in the long run.
And yes I have had a couple of seasons where I have had some awful randoms but all in all the end result seems to always be the same.

I have to agree with Jezz on this one. And I've been one of the lucky ones.
Edit: But Mr. Winkley told me we couldn't curse on the forums. ;p

Well for the first time in AMA I was second with only a diff of .307 and was sure of leading the race and a win until this random occurred.. there were time when i was 12 or may be even down 20+ why cant this random happen that time.... only when I in a good position ...FML :(

"Lap 15 There was an internal problem in the chassis"
...... sounds like Ron Dennis trying to blame a driver....

Does anyone knows if that happened in real F1?
Your driver was not feeling well in his helmet and it had to be changed with a new one

In Fuji, a few years ago, I got food poisoning before a race. As we say in Australia, I felt as low as shark shit, and I was sick in the car, right inside my helmet. I didn't finish the race – I got taken out by Sebastian [Vettel, now Webber's Red Bull team-mate] – but vomit wasn't the reason for retirement.
Real F1 drivers suck it up and just go right there in their helmet. None of this pansy-ass pitting for a new one at the mere 'feeling' of sickness

Complaining for a random is pointless

Quote ( Josh Clark @ May 29th 2013,03:13:27 ) I'm not sure how pitting for a new helmet would make them feel better unless it was a bit messy... I would think vomit would be all over the collar of their suit and not just inside the helmet, but that's just my 2 cents worth.

Not that I'm one to complain about randoms, but can someone please explain what the hell happened in my race from lap 67-69?
