Apologies to GPro for the significant overreaction yesterday, & I know it wasn't a target against the guidebook I've done. I overreacted here, so I apologise here. I do still think it's not the best move but it's GPro's choice in what it chooses to do with its imagery.
Ps : I'll read whatever non-friendly messages I have in the inbox when I return home this evening.

Not such a big thing. Gordan gave an explanation. But as always there is no chance to discuss seriously, First thing: 10 people want to add their opinion about it, what makes it horrible to read and understand, especcially for those, whose English is not the native Language ( and than they post their opinion to it, in again not so good english... look at my post).
So the only chance to keep it clear is to close the tread... what always causes some rivality and bad feelings within the Forum.
Well, it´s a bit off topic and I think most could understand what was the matter. I´m not here for a big discussion now, it´s too late.
... I´ve never seen an Australian Forum. Acctually I always want to put my own head into my strategies. At least when it is about gaming :). But all helpful outsourced of GPRO is also kind of advertising for GPRO.
So maybe a bit more cooperation between Admins/Mods and hosts of other forums would be good in this case.
(I´m not a spescialist in interdisciplinary communication, so keep me out of all critcs... -ducks and covers-)

pretty sure this has already been suggested but I think the admins should make an instructional video so nubies don't have to read through massive amounts of info they may/may not need initially

I really do understand Brains frustration.
It seems to me that one of the mods has a different understanding how to read the rules then most of us:
He reads them as 'what is not expressely allowed in the rules is forbidden', while i read rules as ' what is not expressely forbiden by the rules is allowed'.
And those are 2 completely different things.
He is the perfect example of what a bureaucrat should be :
overwhelmed with his own importance and authority, excersing it to a level only other bureaucrats understand. He only lives to correct people and annoy them, in the name of common good. Every organisation needs one of them.
But please do not apologise to them, it will only make em stronger, the only way to cope with them is to despise and ignore them!!!

And actually totally inaccurate. This was nothing to do with any of the mods, and as Brian himself pointed out, was actually nothing to do with him or his guide either.

Looked at the link, not sure there is really anything there that most people don't work out by their 3rd or 4th race (given average common sense). Far from condemning it I'd have thought some parts would actually be a guide idea for the wiki.
