Hi has anyone else suffered from viruses from the gpro website or gpro organiser? On 3 occasions now I have suffered from viruses when logged into the gpro.net site even after I have cleaned the virus from my laptop.

The GPRO website does not install anything on your laptop.
What you must have is some sort of weird toolbar that you installed unintentionally when installing some other software...

I am experiencing similar issues with my laptop. Since a few days my laptop is going nuts, it coincides with the usage of the gpro organiser tool. I did a virus check and found a trojaner.

I was under the impression as long as I don't click an advert my PC can't get infected?

The fact that it coincides with the usage of the Organizer doesn't mean that the program is at fault. I find it hard to believe that the GPRO Organizer is the issue, since there are no other complaints about it. And there are a lot of users of this program around here.

I use GO, I've had a lot of problems with it over the time, but never any virus's. Never had an issue with GO or GPRO, even when my firewall is off.

My AV software detected scum-ware when accessing the site through Internet Explorer. Some kind of Exploit Kit - Black Hole.

Ive got problem with virus too.

If anyone has encountered a virus, then it is most likely coming from their own computer. However just in case when you report such problems, don't just state "I got a virus", but instead:
- list the exact page where you encountered the problem
- give us the details from your antivirus program
- make a screenshot if possible and post it or email it to us
From the reports above so far, there is absolutely nothing that we can do since noone gave us any specifics.
