I've got this idea. As GPRO is growing constantly we could add a new group, higher thank ELITE. Obviously not now but maybe after season 50. It could be named e.g. LEGEND. That would require an expansion of ELITE and Master groups as well. I see it that way
Season 48
-creation of 6 additional MASTER groups
Season 49
-creation of 2 additional ELITE groups
Season 50
-creation of group named LEGEND (or something like that)
I think as GPRO is few years with us (maybe not particularly me) we do have some Legendary managers with us :)
There could be also a prize promotion for those managers who won at least one GPRO trophies. Other would get their promotion after season 49.
There could also be a slot limitation in this new group. As in all others we have 40 slots, here could be 25. After season reset 6 of them would get back down to ELITE.
I know that i didn't count those numbers but wanted only to propose the conception for Your consideration :)

i think the levels on the pyramid are enough right now, we wouldn't want to make it too complicated.
But a rookie group (start from scratch) with champions would be awesome, something like Race Of Champions :D.

That would also mean expanding the pro, amateur and rookie groups to maintain the pyramid system and their is already too many rookie groups with too few competitors that race regularly. Plus like Finn says it's not Elite with more than one group then how long before Legendary is not enough so people then want a God group.

Maybe we could have a one of season run of Champions? not sure how it would work though, Possibly let them have a second account for one season with no sponsors no difference in drivers no testing, lets see who is the best purely on setup and strategy. Complete level playing field all with the same standard of car.

One probably should consider calculating that number of larger group of people in which this scenario would work. ;)

Better let the GPRO Team keep working in the right direction and focus yourself on improving in GPRO.
Groups are perfect right now, no need to make those kind of changes.
Elite is Elite!!! That's all. Keep working hard and maybe in season 60 you will be able to reach Master or so!!!!

Still 22 AMA and 209 Rookie groups are missing. Not to mention that many exisisting are not filled with managers.
Get back with your idea in 2-3 years :-P

This is insane I believe that only groups Pro, Amateur and Rookie will expand the others are okay.Maybe in season 50 will have one or two more Master groups .I ask you to tell me whether my reasoning is right.

Why would i want a group higher than Elite, considering that getting past Rookie alone is like climbing a mountain? (wink!)
More seriously-i would rather concentrate on getting to Elite and winning the championship first-only then can i agitate for a higher group.

There'll only ever be one top group. Who cares what it's called?
And adding a new division requires a complete overhaul of drivers, tech D's, tyres and a few other things too...it's not simply a case of adding a new division just for kicks.

Do the maths on it, then let us know how mnay active managers would be needed to actually support it; the current structure is still massively undersubscribed.

We already have that, it's called R105 ;)
