I try to access gpro from three devices: my PC, my smartphone Samsung Galaxy A5 mini and my tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. On all three devices I am using Firefox as browser.

While I can login without any difficulties from my PC and my smartphone using my standard password, from my tablet I can only login using my limited access password. The standard password on my tablet always sends me to the error page which states that either my username or password were wrong. Any idea why?

On all three devices I always type in my passwords, so I don't use any stored old passwords.

Also, I made sure several times that I didn't make any typos with my standard password on my tablet. But no matter how often I try, I always get the error message.

Maybe some special character causing an issue? Have you tried changing your password to purely alphanumeric (a-z A-Z 0-9) to see if it works?

I do in fact use punctuation marks in my standard password, which I don't use in my limited access password.

But why should punctuation marks cause problems on one device and not on the other?

Anyway, I'll try your suggestion and let you know.

Yes, you were right. When I exclude punctuation marks from my standard password, I can login from my tablet.

I checked the Firefox version on my tablet and it was, *cough*, rather old. So I updated it to the newest version, but still, it doesn't like punctuation marks. Maybe it is down to the rather old Android that is still working on that tablet, compared to the newer one on my phone.

Anyhow, it's rather strange.

Thanks for your help, Jasper! :)

I think it could be solved (and you can use punctuation again) setting the browser's character encoding appropriately. Google how to do it for the browser/device that is giving you trouble, Michael.

I'll try that, when I find some time. Thanks Flo! :)

I've this kind of problem one time, with no special chars in password.
Could only be resolved with box reset.

For me, clear cache and other don't works, I only blocked when my data parser encounter a problem with a limited access password change.
