Ok guys (Josh, Jake, Jeisiel, Simon)
spoke to Josh...about these achievements...we came up with this idea that after each race  cups given out for each one.
Race Finish
1st place = 5x
2nd place = 3x
3rd place = 1x
Qualifying
Pole = 3x
2nd = 2x
3rd = 1x
Fastest Laps
1st = 3x
2nd = 2x
3rd = 1x
Money
highest balance (after each post-race script)
1st = 3x
2nd = 2x
3rd = 1x
is there anything needed to add to this ?

Ok I think we need to clear a few things up. Firstly, for all of the new players and R55 managers, I think it's fair that we announce now whether we are promoting or not, so as to not cause any surprises at the end of the season.

To compensate to those whose careers will probably be buggered up because of this season, so basically everyone else who isn't part of the competition, all of us experienced managers will be on hand to anyone who wants some advice in how to succeed in this game. I think it's only fair :)

Yeah can do. I'll post it all in a quote box so everyone's aware of the scoring methods and targets for the season. I'll also throw in the rules which are open for debate, but I think they're all pretty fair.

Also, how about laps led? We can determine that from the other statistics page on manager profiles. There's a lot of things we can get from there too, like positions won, laps led, hattricks, grand chalems, etc.

Most Wins, Most Podiums too?
We should avoid giving for OBR, average finish, just cos there will be randoms along the way for sure. It's less easy to claw back a good average position or OBR position from a random than recover a deficit of wins or podium total.

Since grand chalems and hattricks are pretty much the same thing, only one is leading laps, is it really fair to award 6 cups, ontop of the 5+3+3 for win, FL and pole as well? That's a lot of cups... why don't we just make it 12 cups for a hattrick (including 5+3+3) and 13 cups for a chalem?

Yeah I figured the same. I looked back at my first sum up of what we were racing for last season, saw that there, then thought actually no.. ;)

no, no dont award extra cups for chalems and hattricks per race...just 3 cups at the end of the season for whomever gets the most throughout the season. Most laps led for whole season.
