Yeap when you lose 5 places at the beginning always... feels pretty nice throughout the whole season.

I really am very suppressed.
I did not expect the pole, much less the victory.
I chose 2 pits because I wanted to drop in front and punctuate.
I think it was a good choice,
Because most decided to go with 1 pit of hard tires.
And because Chris let me win. Kkkkkkk

You both with Chris seem to be safe enough I think as this season progresses. The battle for 3rd will probably continue until the end of the season.
I'm tempted always whether 1 or 2 stop and like 75% of the time I pick the wrong one, my driver is probably not very happy about my decisions this season. :]

I believe that even the 4th position has a chance of promotion.

Good luck in Master Chris, hope you can stay on there or even get to Elite.
And it's a tight fight for 3rd, maybe on of you will make it via Additional Promotions. I'm partial to Rick making it though, either directly or indirectly, us being friends and all.

Last time when I had a really bad driver and went for promotion I got the same results. This time I have a beast driver and this didn't help aswell, results are still the same, actually even worse.
I'm going back to ama probably this season as spending more time in Pro wont be a good idea... been wasted 8 seasons already, amateur is always fun without your nerves getting used. :)
But yeah the money cost me the pushing power just as I already planned it and it went just as exactly - no money to change parts at end of the season.

Even if you had great driver Andreas it could be enough. It was mega group this season and beeing manager from middle was quite pain in the ass :D

Yes, the people attempting to promote this season are all well prepared and did a monster season, even you.
In OBR Season in Pro we have:
5. Dunnolop Chris Small Pro - 8
26. Dunnolop Joelson Gonçalves Pro - 8
31. Dunnolop Rick Queary Pro - 8
32. Dunnolop Martynas Atkočius Pro - 8
37. Dunnolop Andreas Ramann Pro - 8
68. Dunnolop Paulo Ferreira Pro - 8
In almost any other group you would have been able to fight your way into the top3, in fact in most you would BE top3, at least in OBR counted but that also gives a good indication as to final spot. Ferreira only got that far back in the list because his non-point races were in the 20th positions.

Well indeed, this group was the worst one to promote this season from all Pro groups I suppose. I hate that I got always kinda good Q spots but always got overtaken in the first lap even when I used highest start risks, which was really risky... and then were blocked for the rest of the race. :D (This was literally all of the first races this season.) Because of that I couldn't ramp up my driver's motivation and the mid-pack races began where I spent too much money to get even mid-pack finishes. :D
I wish OBR would do something more than just tell that you are at top of the list, haha.

Congrats to C. Small, J. Gonçalves, and P. Ferreira for promoting.
Sorry to you all that relegate but happy for M. Milczarek and G. Guerra for securing their retaining by virtue of 2 managers ending in negative, and sorry for those two. Hope you come back to Pro soon again.
Now, for season 61, who all are going to be attempting a run at Master?
My guess, apart from me, would be H. Heinävesi, P. Gustavo, and M. Atkočius.
If keeping their drivers via extensions past the current contract I would also add M. Milczarek and E. Dias to that list.
Which means it could shape up to be an interesting season.

i have to find a new driver for s61, so my goal will simply be to retain. Pro is a money pit and i have to somehow survive, train a driver, and prepare for a push in s62. my work is cut out for me. :-)

I feel that rising price for Donnos isn't only encouragement for taking other tyres for this season.
|
|

this is the most dramatic tyre change in a number of seasons. it'll be interesting how it all shakes out. quite a cost bump especially for managers like me who are tight on finances.

i'm looking forward to a challenging season. i've yet to find a new driver and that means retention is going to be much more difficult. add to that some low funds and that means it will be even more difficult. :-)

you're coming into the season in a very good financial position. it's going to be a very hard struggle for me. i was SO close to promoting last season and didn't. i'll be paying for that this season and just hope to find a way to retain. we'll see what happens. good luck to you, too!

What a great start of a season with a random gearbox failure (and wear to 99%)! I love this game. No really. I'm fed up with such things that take away all the fun. So this is one of my last seasons here. Maybe the last. I don't know yet.

I saw that happening Martynas. Bad luck and it's a shame it happened. I hope it will not make you end your career though, you are a good manager and have been playing for a long time. I'd be pleased to battle it out against you and learn something from it.
