to be honest Atli, I was also surprised with my pace...if I take into consideration driver/car/tyre/weather I think I should be down starting around 25-30

Blazo, your pace doesn't surprise anyone who was here last season. ;)
Antimo and Philippe were way faster than everyone else last season, but you were also very fast when you pushed and the weather conditions were decent for you.

Not a big fan of snow myself as I've always have been a rain-dancer throughout my gpro career but now circumstances are forcing me to appreciate other-worldly beauty of snow clad Suzuka :D
But still I'm not as comfortable as someone else -

Well Andrea, for this race and temp, the only sensible option is ES or Soft, with c.a. 8-10 sec race time between them... which could easily be lost on shakies...
I don't expect a 1 stop strat stands a chance here.
The question is probably, will the temperature come to the Yokos (up) or to the Dunnos (down)... That will definitely be a factor in the race..
So, it wouldn't surprise me at all, if we are on different strats. ;)
We might have a great fight at the end of the race.

Iceland just became yesterday the smallest nation in history to be a part of the men's Football World Cup tournament, by winning it's qualifying group for WC 2018.
Iceland, with it's 300.000 citizens, it is 4-5 times smaller than the prior record holder, Trinidad and Tobago, with it's 1.3 million inhabitants. :)
What makes this even more special, is that Iceland won a group in Europe, not Oceania, although we were lucky with our group opponents, as it could have been much worse ;)

Yeah, probably.
But, you should also come into play during the race.
I'm expecting most managers to be on Softs for this race, since that's the most sensible option.
Lokking at the quali times (excluding driver mistakes), it looks like me, you and Djordje are on ES, while Darek, Andrea, Jiri, Luis and Sharma are probably on Softs...
I'm not counting any of the above out, but I do need to beat Andrea in the Cup...
That was never going to be easy :)
Ps.. Ouch,, just looked at my stats for Mugello,,
I have only ever scored 1 point at Mugello in 3 races....
Is Mucello my omen track?

Now I'm worried. :O

Then there are driver mistakes involved.
One can read the quali results, but can't be certain until race time. :)
