Hi everyone
now the season is nearly over, I will soon be starting to deliberately lose in order to keep my driver level below 110 so I don't lose him when I promote. I thought it might be useful to you guys to provide some handy advice to help you next season.
Car levels: I suggest taking your car to level 2 and then to level 3 once you need to replace parts. Do not bother going beyond level 3 in Rookie and do not waste money replacing parts before you need to.
Risks in the race. This is a key area that influences your pace in the race. If your energy bar is empty at the end of the race then risks are too high; if energy is, say, more than half full at the end of the race, then risks are too low. It varies for different drivers, but to give you an idea I have set risks around 30 this season.
Driver choice. This is BY FAR the most important choice you make in rookie, and is the main reason I have been a long way ahead this season - an excellent driver. Here are some tips:
1. The overall OA number is not relevant at this stage - the guy I signed was 79 I think at the start of the season.
2. The relevant numbers are Concentration (you ideally want over 150), and Stamina (you ideally want over 50).
3. Motivation is very easy to grow, so most of the best drivers that are available under 85 OA will have low motivation (<50).
4. Talent you want to be decent, but NOT too high. between 100 and 160 is ideal.
5. Salary and signing fee. I would offer as big a signing fee as you can to attract the driver you want. However you don't want salary too high if you want to keep the driver long term - I would say 750k salary maximum, but ideally about 600k or less.
6. When you train your driver train a mix of concentration (Yoga) and stamina (Fitness) - try and get concentration towards 180 and stamina towards 80.

Congratulations Emre with yet another win, and Richard with your first podium ever. It was a nice race to follow, lot's of different strategies. :)
Me personaly I'm still trying out a few things, but I do get some good help of my mentor. Next race I will use some risk for the first time. Let's see how that works out ? I will not battle for promotion with you guys, maybe next season when I found myself a decent driver.

Yes that was fun indeed, you were a bit unlucky with that driver mistake otherwise you would have passed me a lot earlier in the race already. In the end it didn't make any difference at all because I was smoking this one out anyway. So I hope we can have a true battle in Switzerland.

Well done you guys :) I was pretty happy with 2nd using 10CT and 0 boost laps. Trouble is now I have 7 parts >90% wear. Still - that's a good thing I guess as I don't want any more points.

But remember don't earn more then 50 points in this season, unfortunately I did it in previous one 😉

Slowest strategy with 0%CT, (four stops on extra soft), + a extra stop with only 10 litres of fuel, and still scoring points ?!?!
OMG, what does a girl have to do to not score points ??
Next race on the rain tyres maybe, or will I just take 10 litres of fuel at each stop, I will definetely smoke my race out that's for sure. hihihihi ;-)

I agree on that, I would have loved to go all the way this season already and to fight for the championship, but since I do have the opportunity to take my current driver with me to the next season this was no good option for me. But give it a few seasons and I'm sure we'll meet again at another level. :)
