i play now for 15 months same thing happening again is unlikely... just like real F1... rain mixed up races. i recall that a minardi was leading the nurburgring because of early rain and he started on rain tyres...
shit happened that day all around the field (like today in gpro) i was 3rd...then 15th! and then 2nd at finish... the gpro spectators must have been loving the action....

The only difference being that in F1 you can REACT as it happens. Just a minor difference, though still... a difference /s

thats a more positive feedback,but sadly due to timezones it cannot happen.

Exactly. Which is why predictions, thus planning, should take place of that. If you have none of that what is this then? Roulette? Online Casino? What are we doing here ? :P

Good manager can foresee being 0.001 slower than the competitor and choose different strategy. Here can be many different things affecting your decisions even you can calculate everything mathematicaly. Different tire suppliers, different drivers, different risks etc. etc. etc.
We don't need to increase coin toss just to get more heartattacks. Things what is completely out of human control is not good for the game. Things what is hard (but possible) to foresee is good
As much as I think this was BS (and it was) the answer is very simple, regardless of the probability of it happening, it was like hitting a lottery but finding out the lottery went broke the night before.
even when you have a 99% chance of it raining, you still have a 1% chance of it NOT raining, it's that simple. So all you that are quitting, bye bye.
It's just a GAME PPL, and like a LOT of things in this game that don't compute to RL calcs, the weather today also did not. So WTF is the big deal......
Ah, I just had an epiphany. The reason why it stopped raining is because it started to snow due to the low temps. Thus it was dry, snowing, but not raining.
I suppose there was too much AI implemented in the game engine and it just "drove" ahead of what its devs planned for.

Yes it is going to happen (again). It always was and it always will. That is what probability does. In 99% (or maybe even 99,9%) of the occasions this would have been a full wet race. Well today it just wasn't one of those occasions... Just a predicted anomaly which doesn't change anything on future predictions.
Good things is that it also applies to anything with a probability, so those pipi's of yours might actually shine above everything else someday somehow in Pro ;)

The problem is some of y'all are taking a browser game too seriously... and tbh I understand and respect that, after all, there's real money (aka credits) involved and a couple years of planning.

;) that was merely a reply for me not knowing about the other tyres. I do understand why you have pipi's and you are not trying to retain.
So let's leave those comments behind us. I do hope you read and agree that an anomaly like last race (predicted to occur once every now and then) doesn't change any future predictions or models used... (or ask yourself the question, why do people live in LA or SF while they do know that at some point in time that vault line will tear those cities apart? it is just because probability says it will happen someday but just not today, or tommorow or the day after, next week, next month, year, etc... yet it can happen at any moment)

Maybe we can. But the question is: as there are so many complaints, can you learn something about how you present the weather system to your users?......
What do all the comments from the managers to this weather tell you?
It's not the first time people complain about the weather forecast. Maybe you need to rethink how you present the weather system to your users. On the weather forecast it says 'Rain probability'. But that is misleading and thus a NoGo in my opinion. Maybe change it to 'Rain starting probability'?
I also think you need to bring out a comment/announcement to everyone why exactly this happened (not too much in detail though :) ) to reassure (not sure if this is the correct English word) all the managers. Many managers are unhappy and a decent explanation might help. Maybe explain why you chose the weather system as it is now, with the rain starting probability (without going into much detail ofcourse). It might help people to understand what happened.
I guessed the weather wrong tonight, looks like I wasn't alone. I won't complain though, with the percentages nothing was certain, most times it would be fully wet but this time not. Also it was the same forecast/same weather for everybody.
