hen everyone will be banned, since everyone is using diffusers and have since the beginning of the sports or something
I seen that argument from you at least twice now, so are you trying to be a smart ass?
It is clear that 3 teams have interpreted design rules differently to other 7 so that part of the car is being challenged

Yet again, a number of people in this thread should be ashamed of themselves.
Stupid fanatics.

Formula one brings the best from some, worst from some others?
In saying that, I'm not exactly a role model F1 supporter, I can see things easier from my favourite driver's point of view. Some people do take it a bit far, and be a bit brash.

As a result the stewards have additionally fined him - and Red Bull Racing - US$50,000 for continuing to drive a damaged car.
That seems a bit harsh aswell. A lot of drivers carry on with damaged cars to try make it back to the pits. Surely they shouldn't make that ruling cos it was near the end of the race. Will no driver be able to try make it to the pits from now on? :/

Nice...+1 position. Now FIA should ban diffuser users and not a bad race finally.
Yeah, of course, ban the people who are smart enough to find a way around the rules without breaking them. This is what racing should be about, smart development, and not about the money!

The whole Vettel issue is mad. Rule changes were brought in so that we see more overtaking in races yet if a person makes a mistake he gets punished

I think they didn't like it how he attempted to run the laps to complete the race.
But didn't Schumacher complete a lap after colliding with Coulthard (loosing a wheel) and not cop any form of penalty !?
|
|
|
yes I think so to Ermin although he should be penalised for continuing to drive his car was dead

1, but not to finish the race.
Spa 1998, I think.

I can't believe what has happened to Vettel. He is my 3rd favourite driver, probably everyone elses 1st(Hehe) favourite. And he gets a DNF along with all this?

He did an optimistic move on Massa
Raikkonnen.
I found the starting move pretty eager as well....

I would have, he worked so hard to have 2nd in a car that wasn't quite as good as the guys around him, yet he wdone it all picture perfect, until he seen Kubica's face, haha.

until he seen Kubica's face
And that would be enough to distract even the best drivers :p

Will no driver be able to try make it to the pits from now on? :/ Totally unnecessary to try to go one without four wheels since he had no way of continuing anyways. Very dangerous with hanging parts that he can drop any minute and he might have problems with turning or braking too.

I found the starting move pretty eager as well.... He didn't do much then, he was way clear of Webber until Heikki was to eager and hit Barrichello and started the chain reaction.

But didn't Schumacher complete a lap after colliding with Coulthard (loosing a wheel) and not cop any form of penalty !? It was on the long back straight so not far from the pits. Vettel crashed in one of the first corners. He might've even tried to go to the finish with that car, must've been some stupidity in the heat of the moment.

Heikki hit Barrichello who hit Webber then carnage. Yep. I was blaming Crasho myself until he said something about a Mclaren hitting him, then seeing the replay showed it. If Vettel copped a penalty then so should Heikki, he wrecked the race of several drivers. Also, Crasho's move on Kimi was worse than Vettel's, Kimi continued and it didn't cause a SC so that seems to be the only reason that he got away with it.
