A strange weather phenomenon is going to happen at the Paul Richard GP in France August 11th 2006

After doing some research this is what I came up with.

According to my Temperature Conversion Calculator 52 degrees Celsius is equal to 125.6 degrees Fahrenheit. And I know that in the US if it 125 outside… I no longer need to feed my outside pets, cause there all dead.

July 7th 1982, Le Luc, France: France's hottest day on record occurs at Le Luc near St. Tropez when high reaches 42.7°C (108.9°F)…. This must be the location of the track!

The hottest temperature ever recorded anywhere on Earth (136 F at Al' Aziziyah, Libya in September of 1922) occurred well before global warming was ever thought of, in case you were wondering…. Maybe we need a track there…. I would love to see that tire testing data.

Plus it’s going to be raining!!! Can that happen at 52 degrees Celsius??

Maybe my fat driver will finally lose some weight.
Or
Maybe the heat will kill him off so I can void his contract.

I guess it means track temperature. still bloody hot for a rainy day though, surely that's something to sort out in the gap between seasons?

Perhaps its a sauna-loose-fat-race, i guess you can´t predict a thing when it comes to a Bernie Ecclestone owned race track :), Perhaps his new F1 series where F1 stands for Fat loss 1 step away

Perhaps the temperature that the game shows is from the track!?!?

That makes sense!

to sort what? Thats just a bunch of numbers. Whats the difference for you? I see no difference between 52 C and lets say 40C or even 0C. Just tyre strategy u will choose will differ.
So whats wrong with that?

Well, it has been 12 celsisus also, so as a track temperature that's not realistic either...

The track temperature doesn't really bother me. In fact, the more extreme this can get, the more interesting for the game. From time to time such a mad race like the next one is going to be, keeps things more interesting, as underdogs can be a surprise in those races and favourites can lose because of unexpected turns not in their favour. Having to calculate a complete different strategy every few races, is also good imo, cause it will keep your interest into the game alive.

My point was, it's not particularly realistic. And the rest of the game is built around realism, so why not this?

im pretty sure it means air temp Andy i seem to recall Rinat asking that in some thread probably around the time of that 12C race in the desert. I also too hope for more realistic temps but hey..whatever! :)

it is tracktemperature. Thats the main temperature that is important for the tires.

For pitbabes you have to send us your Identitycard to prove, that you are over 18 :)

Because real life is full of those non-important little things... :)
Actually there's so many of them (like some web game), that many people don't even realise the existence of the more important things. :D
