I think you all are missing the point here.
It's obvious that this is a tool for the admins and mods and we all should be glad about it.
Instead of lots of coments to review and moderate, if you guys all help, we can have a simple comunication with tumbs up and tumbs down.
Eventually, this will give them more time to think about other things rather than in reviewing and moderating silly coments and spam.
Try to be an open mind about things ang forget trendy "oh no, facebook is here" coments.
Damm people, is that so hard to understand that this is a good thing if you all help with it?!
More server space.
Faster game
Less moderation and review needed.
More time to answer you calls and sugestions.
Etc, etc, etc!
"Mom... leave the kids at home, they ask too many questions without thinking first!"

More hostilities breaking out.
More vendetta's.
Possibly more DAs just for this feature.
And like a black hole, it sucks people into this cycle.
I can't see how this will create less work for the admins. And all forum users will be forced to play the game because anybody who has a hate trip against you will be doing so & trying to ensure you look bad; which means that you have to return fire.
There's nothing good that will coming from this (& personally I'm not pressing +1 or -1 on any posts).

As long you return fire by clicking those like, dislike buttons, everything is perfectly fine for those who have to work 24/7 to keep the forum working.
If you return fire with messages, they have to read it and moderate it.
If someone get's one or a thousand dislikes in a message, that's pretty much the same in server space and moderation time.
This is a very usefull tool.
Do your love and hate on those buttons and leave the forum clean of stupidity without congestionating other services.
Right?

Not really. You have to respond to those attacking you with this system. That means looking for every opportunity to snipe & attack for any little thing in the forums and increased hate in the search to achieve the downfall of those attacking you.
It only seeks to draw everybody into a web of hate & that can only mean players looking for more opportunities for forum fighting. It's the result elsewhere, and it'll be double the result here.
Not good :(
