Anyone voting for Button is a little silly No, he drove the best. He could have won without those two incidents.

I agree he had a little unluck and he was quick, however if you take it all into account, the Red Bull strategy paid off, even if the Red Flag never happened Vettel had track position, simple as.

Red Bull strategy paid off It was lucky. If they needed to finish the race at full speed, on those tyres, they would have 'fallen off the cliff'.

Like i say he got a little unluck and the other way with Red Bull, but still the strategy was paying off between the second safety car and The Red Flag.

You are wrong, but I can't be bothered debating with you. It's like debating with a cauliflower.

I hope you don't drive like him on the streets...

That's because you don't think behind the book cover, Get your head out of Button's ass.
Admittedly though as much as Hamilton was being a dick, he provided action.

Lewis was the best today!

I've already stated McLaren were unlucky yesterday, however today they were a little unlucky but after the second safety car and before The Red Flag they were still going to end up losing to the Red Bull strategy, i agree Button drove well but he had a load of unluck (i'm going to keep saying unluck to annoy you).

Absolute crap unless of course your privvy to the Pirelli test information on those tyres??
Alonso's tyres looked like they were starting to let go just before the Red Flag.
Track Position, if his tyres were dead he still could have done MSC defending to hold the lead. Quite easy around Monaco.
MSC wasn't driving on Pirellis ;)
Remember the cliff?

I thought this thread was about the best driver, not the best strategy.

Lewis was driving very well today... except the attack on Massa... and on Maldonado... and probably a few more which i've simply missed ;p

He gave no room to Schumacher at turn 1 and had the Merc into the back of him (then blamed him of course).

Lewis was too aggressive today. I think Mark is the best because he finished 4 despite the delay on the first pit. He overtakes Kobayashi, Petrov, Sutil and others.
Big fan of Hamilton but his interview was stupid.
Jenson Button easily in my view, drove superbly in his McLaren, was quicker than Vettel in most part of the race only for the SC to screw him off the win! :(
how can anyone say vettel? Button would have won the race IMO if there wasn't that red flag and the restart allowing new tyres.
Clearly Button was the best driver on the track today - if not for the second red flag then Vet would have struggle to keep his car on the track after such a long stint ;]
Leave should not change the tires when they stop the race
Alonso and Button, both did great, Button still close to them with 3 stops, and Alonso made 2nd with certainly not the best car.

voted for Jenson, the win was his had Sutil not started the mess before the 2nd safety car.
I cant believe how many people are slating Lewis even though there are several facts that people should be giving him some fairness for...
Monaco is very hard to overtake on meaning accidents are more than likely to happen with any driver trying to push up the field. WE ALL KNOW THIS
Hamilton had the inside line on massa but should have let massa carry on. But this doesnt mean hamilton caused massa to crash, he crashed simply because he drove off the racing line instead of giving up to lewis who already had it in the tunnel. This shows how determined every driver has to be to overtake at monaco.
And finally if you watch the replay of the maldonado hamilton crash...hamilton has the inside and no reason to back off but maldonado tries a schumacher like move and cuts of lewis.
also if di resta didnt get a drive through neither would hamilton.
so even if all the obvious hamilton haters decide to ignore this then go to another forum where people care about bias views.

Steven no matter if Di Resta got a penalty or not half the stuff Hamilton done in this race was enough for him to be either Black Flagged or disciplined for the next race, and his post race comments will most certainly earn him a fine.
I agree with your points on the overtaking side but on both of those overtakes you pointed out he should not have dived down the inside, on the Hairpin he sort of pushed Massa and then he got locked in, then on Maldonado he should have backed out when he saw him defending.

then on Maldonado he should have backed out when he saw him defending.
George like most people your relying on what you first saw live during the race, please watch the replay from lewis' position. you must be able to have some understanding for him.
remember these guys drive around over 100mph and maldonado turns in extremely quick

joke race as always,6lap race, why did,nt it finnish under safety car, maybe they needed another redbull placed higher,f1 is a joke

I understand but it was a bold move to even attempt and all that came out of it was easily the best driver ending with a DNF.
