I think we have just seen a very valid reason why some bench players should be starting rather, Biz and Alberts are power houses and should be started instead of Smit and Spies for sure.....
just shows that you are right - I would also add Schalke into that mix as well - he almost cost us the game with his "break down" style of play.... Idiot. As for Habana he to is far past his sell by date and wish we had taken the Sharks Winger Mvovo who ini my opinion is going to be a great winger if giving a chance.
But I think I and maybe all of us should take a step back as its only Round 1 of many LOL and teams will look to perform better and better as the games go on

How did Canada managed to beat Tonga? I mean, weren`t Tonga one of the good teams in rugby?
And Scotland only 12-3 up against Georgia...some tight results in this World Cup so far.
Had a bet on Scotland to score 4 tries....they`re useless. :D

i watched a bit of the canada v tonga game looked a really good game then i watched all of scotland v geogia what a boring game 15-6 all penaly or field goals neither side got close to scoring in 80 min lol.

Scotland struggled to hell against Georgia, the conditions were terrible mind you and they got the win so fair play :-)
Georgia were excellent, real passionate rugby, they really wanted that

Did you not watch them playing your own team? Scotland will do well to score 4 tries all tournament at this rate.
Great World Cup for me so far - England by 1-12 at 15/8, SA by 1-12 at 15/8, Scotland by 1-12 at 12/5. Bookies thought they'd all be walkovers, no chance!

I'm not surprised. Canada is the 2nd-best team in all of the Americas (behind Argentina). Tonga is a good team, but overrated.

Out of 4 rugby playing nations...Argentina, Uruguay, Canada, and the USA...its like saying that Wales are the second best team in the British Isles. ;p

Last I checked, BOTH AMERICAS combined have more rugby teams than the Pacific Islanders, ALTHOUGH the latter's "weakest" team is a hell lot stronger than the Americas' weaker teams. ;-) I apologize if my Canada-is-2nd-best comment offended Islanders fans. :-D It was meant to explain why Tonga didn't win 100-0.

Scotland are certainly the best at conceding turnovers - 17 today, which by any standards is utterly appalling. They come up against a decent side and play like that they're going to get absolutely smashed.

Georgia are almost as bad as we are, I was expecting the Scots to get the bonus point again, but they were dreadful, and the game was also very boring. 10 minutes of the opening ceremony were more entertaning than the Scotland- Georgia game. :P

True, but the Puma's motives were different. They were playing all out to win. England were playing within themselves to not lose.
If kicks for points weren't working for Argentina then perhaps they should have considered other tactics.
I'm sorry but I support england with all my heart but I am not going to say they were leaving anything in the tank. England were all out trying to win the game, it's stupid to say they weren't when argentina are the toughest team in the group and if we lost we would play new zealand in the quarters. On the day england weren't good enough and will have to step up there game to beat scotland and any tri-nations team.
