Fabrice Muamba faces a crucial 24 hours with the Bolton midfielder said to be critically ill in intensive care at the heart attack centre of the London Chest Hospital.
Tottenham’s FA Cup tie against Bolton was dramatically called off when Trotters midfielder Muamba collapsed in the centre of the White Hart Lane pitch after suffering a suspected heart attack in front of 36,000 fans and a television audience of a million.
The 23-year-old, who was reported to have stopped breathing, received cardio-resuscitation treatment from doctors and paramedics as shocked and distressed players from both sides looked on.

Lets pray for him guys.

maybe you should be a little more respectful about someone else health issues when you have no clue what happened.

maybe you should sort your life first, and then advice other people

You are way out of order and not only incredibly disrespectful towards Muamba and his family, but towards anyone that has lost their life due to natural causes while playing football. For example, one very close to home for me...

To say these things don't happen naturally is wrong and very offensive.

In all honesty it can happen naturally, we had a player die playing in the Brisbane Rugby league back in the early 90's of a heart attack & it turned out he had a heart defect so it is a bit presumptous to assume it's drugs. There can be other causes

It might not be politically correct, but it's a question that must be asked, and until it's answered, I'll presume it to be true. So many soccer/football players collapse on the field with internal failures with no reason.

Considering your statement Kevin, my Pop died in the same year of a heart attack, so is it possible I bring that up to make you feel bad for me?

I thought most of the free world stood by "innocent until proven guilty"?

I think you'll find most (not all) reasons are revealed following an autopsy and there are many natural reasons for such deaths and are associated with the physical exertion and an undiagnosed underlying condition. But sometimes, it just happens, just like it would for anyone, but it's more high profile as it's live on a football pitch.

Of course there is the possibility of other causes, but to accuse such without proof is way out of order, especially mentioning drugs for no reason I can think of. It's even more unlikely (but not impossible) due to the massive amount of random drug testing conducted in professional football in England.

Fabrice, you are a talented player, you deserve to be high up well as a CM,and you are darn hot in the FIFA 12 trade market now

You know we all would want you to pull through it

And if you are taking drugs, well,i dont know if you deserve it or not

And to Luke, did you suspect your pop took drugs while he died?

If this is inappropriate to discuss on the forums then why bring it up in the first place, Luke? I will not be answering any PM to you and anything you want to say you can say publicly.

The point is it is incredibly disrespectful to accuse they guy of anything without proof. Even if you are correct in your drug assumption (which is unlikely but not impossible), you would still be wrong to have made the accusation without proof when they guy is fighting for his life!

However, praying for it? I reserve the right to try and help him in my own way: slaughtering a chicken inside a pentagram. Far more effective, in my experience.

Tbh, I don't know what happened in this particular case, but Luke is sort of correct, drugs are a problem in football but ppl still don't seem to realize it.

this sort of thing happens too often to be statistically normal - I am not accusing Muamba of anything and wish the guy all the best - I just guess Luke's point was on what happens in general rather than only posting to blame Fabrice.
