Well, after all that hard work, Keri.. all I can say is.. the answer to all your queries is FOBY .... nice job! :))

|

It's nice to see that our seasoned players care, about how the beginers of GPRO approach the strategies of how the game is played.... Exellent job Keri !

Nice work Keri . Here's my TIP if you find a driver you like don't bid on him till last minute. This should stop loads of offers being put on him. Their are gem's out their you just have to be patient stay on-line then whack your bid in fingers crossed you should get him

Funnily enough, Ognjen is how Jensen usually spells his first name.

I will post on here what I posted in a message to a newbie (who immediately got a better driver and jumped the pack he was previously behind).
Okay, instead of giving you such detailed information, I'll give you some goals so you can work it out for yourself :) You will feel a lot prouder of yourself this way!! :D
1. Use the amateur driver market to find the 5 most successful drivers who have promoted from rookie (you can do this by clicking on a driver, and conducting research on the managers who have had him) (an indication is when you see a higher than usual pts/race number on the driver stats area) (once you do this, you will be able to find a rookie driver capable of promoting you from rookie as it gives you a rough indication of what's needed)
I don't think this is FOBY info, and I do believe if every new manager used this method to 'proof-check' their drivers, the game would have a massive improvement with retention.

Offered that advice multiple times, Luke, as it is good advice for total newbies and is how I found my very first driver.

Many people have, including n00b frosty as well, but as it's not in the OP, I thought it would be of some assistance to newer players who might look at this thread :)

It is in the OP.
Quote ( Keri Lovell @ May 4th 2012,00:59:32 ) Any more advice?
* If you are still stuck as to what you think is a good driver, why not check out their past history? GPRO records histories of all drivers and the managers they raced for and in what leagues, so if you find a gem that has scored points before then who says he wont score points for you? Its not always the case of course, but it may help. Or even help you to decide how to train your driver?

That's bad to flee your practitioner.

Is there any possible way to decrease OA of my curent driver ?
|
|
|
It will be very difficult to do it in rookie unless you go -$15M in debt. As it's so early in the season, that strategy will probably do more harm for you than good so Soft reset is an option as well. You will lose your driver, but there are plenty of other good drivers :)

Search the forums as there are some training methods that could help :)

Hey Stefan, I believe this is FOBY question. As suggested above just experiment and see. In my case, I did the same, collected a lot of data and saw a pattern which helped me choose a driver who can score points for me..! best of luck..! :)

Think about the technical things that the driver can make an impact on. The more he has, the more insight he can give.

If you do clever forum searches you can see what people have said about that techy stat.

Is it possible to get a driver for one race while you have another one on contract and then go back to the driver previously on contract without signing another contract?

Quote ( Andrew Schmier @ May 8th 2014,02:14:08 ) Is it possible to get a driver for one race while you have another one on contract and then go back to the driver previously on contract without signing another contract?
No. You can only have one driver under contract at any time.

The driver profile screen states that "A public offer can be seen by everyone together with the name of the manager who placed it".
In instances where prior public offers exist, I assume the pre-populated minimal signing fee and minimal salary are those of the best offer to date. If not, please enlighten me as to how I can see these public offers.
