Does anyone else enjoy this kind of stuff? Who do you enjoy listening to?
Talkback radio & podcasts seem to be a forgotten corner of the media these days.
My current favourite talkback radio host is Howard Stern. Some label him a shock jockey, but he is very very entertaining IMO. Back in the day he was untouchable, and he was probably one of the most influential people in media in the 90s.
Yeah this one :) Yeah only thing i disliked was his very showy delivery, i dont like it when people repeat something 4 times with dramatic intonations, but the research level, and i was able to compare when he talked about ww2 western front, is as actually not bad, not to mention he point he emphasises, which are different from that of many traditional historian and defly thought-provoking :)
I get this impression as well. His delivery seems like he's reading off a transcript the whole time. That's why the Joe Rogan's are entertaining. He brings a star over and talks about, well, everything.
I like some f1 podcasts like F1 Rejects and then An aside with Joe but they are both very rare. I also like some science podcasts like Sceptics Guide to the Universe and In our time. Mostly I listen to Estonian podcasts which are basically downloadable radioshows
Used to listen to kritzkazt, it was a Team Fortress 2 podcast that I always liked. I was looking for an F1 podcast, so thanks Gustav for making my job easier :)
I enjoy the podcasts of many people such as regular car reviews, matt from the art of manliness, Antonio centeno from real men real style and atailoredsuit as well as Aaron Marino from iamalpham.I also enjoy a few podcasts in my own language because us gaeilors seem not to have forgotten about them hah. I am awaiting podcasts from mike sacawa at he spoke style and there's rumors that fastlanedaily are trying to make a podcast. Really can't wait for them all because I listen to them while I excersise.
Podcasts are taking over. Take a listen to this interview of Wheeler Walker Jr., the guy who's the equivilant of Kevin Bloody Wilson in USA. He is absolutely currraaaaazzzzyyyyy and I LMAO'd so many damn times listening to this on the way home from work last week!

The TEDtalkradio has some good stuff on it as well...
Is anyone else into podcasts? What do you listen to? I like hearing funny/intelligent/interesting people talking, it helps you develop a view of the world.
I started listening to the BBC F1 podcast 2 years ago and was instantly hooked, heard the pre/post race podcast of every event. The wtf1 podcast is pretty good too.
yeah, Rogan now doesn't really have to work another day in his life but I hope he commentates UFC still
MMA is his hobby, so I will assume he will carry on that. He loves the sport so I don't see him moving away from it.
He's been commentating at less events in the past few years. Jon Anik seems to be the guy who's replacing him. He's stated on many occasions he wants to scale back his involvement with UFC massively as he can't handle the constant travel. But as he gets richer I've noticed him becoming less aware of his need to be unbiased especially, but also other parts of his job which he cared a lot for before the podcast became massive.
As far as other pods go, i don't know much else but I'm interested to see what kind of good ones are around now as I'd like to listen to that instead of music while working out :-)
I listen local business owner podcast - there are invited people who made hard working success and are top professionals in their area.
Joe Rogan is also on my list, but there are too many things you could listen, at some point area of podcasts are overwhelmed with quality material and nonsense.
If anyone likes watching E sports, specifically CS:GO, the Return of by the Numbers podcast which is on Richard Lewis' channel (youtube) is a must watch. It's hilarious to say the least.
