Hi all! I still need to win my first points in Amateur and I am finding a new driver. Who is the best driver in your opinion? The first the second or the third?

Unfortunately, that is something you'll need to decide for yourself or discuss within your team. It isn't really something for the public forum.

Also you are asking a question that could have different answers depending on people's point of view...

I can say this. Go have a look over in the tyre supplier discussion thread. A bit of an interesting off topic discussion a few months ago, depending on forum settings, should be around page 65 odd;)

There´s not one best driver you can pick, it always depends on your preferences...

Are you trying to be Funny???
OR;
A Stupid Joke ???

When a Player is asking a Serious Question, even if it is a FOBY, & they won't get the answer he is looking for.......Please refrain from writing absolute "CRAP" Comments like this in the future.

I´m still surprised how many players think it´s fun to answer newbies with tottally stupid comments. Would like to see their reaction if other answer them in the same way.

Chris, about the drivers, I could write a really long post, but trying to not enter the damned FOBY territory and to give a useful answer just a few tips:

- First, there are many kinds of drivers, long term, short term, to train, already trained, etc... When looking for a new driver you need to know perfectly what do youexpect to get with that driver, do want to just retain? Do you want a driver to promote this or next season, or in a couple seasons? Do you want a driver which takes you to Elite? Dependind on thepurpose of signing the driver you might prefer one driver or another.

- Download the Excel of the market EVERY race. Keep them in a folder in your pc. Look which managers are doing better see when did they signed that driver, go to the excel of that date and see how that driver was when they signed it.

- One of the basics youneed to learn is how the atributes of drivers vary according to tests, trainings, races and season reset. It´s more important to know all this than many people think.

- See how the drivers that Elite managers sign are, then do your counts once you know how the atributes vary, if you want a driver to get to Elite and you need, lets say, 8 seasons, knowing how they vary with races, tests, trainings and season resets might tell you what to look for in the market.

Take a look at this, there are other threads about drivers which might help you:
