Those sponsors are for your group only. Each group has a different set of sponsors. So that is 89 sponsors + a few sponsors currently signed by other managers just for the 18-20 people in your group.

So, if the season ends and the negotiation with the sponsor is at 50%, I lose that negotiation if I descend from the category?

As you are in Pro ATM; Not to an Amateur relegation you won't. You will continue negotiations. Only if you deliberately relegate to Rookie will you lose it and start over.

Nope. You keep negotiating with the sponsor until you either cancel negotiations, they go on your car, they leave you for wrong answers or they are signed by another manager, they won't leave if you relegate or promote

I'm in Pro, but when I start next season I'll be in amateur, the question is, will I lose the negotiations in progress, without finishing?

And you have two answers telling you you won't lose anything. What more do you need to hear? :s

I'm going to be promoted from rookie to amateur come S64. Is there a difference in terms of the quality of sponsors between rookie and amateur, i.e. amount that you get assuming the stats are the same?
|

They should be more generous as you climb the ranks ;)
(in theory, doesnt always work out :D )
|

The sponsors stats and your negotiations skilled also has an impact on how much money you will get.

This is S62 announcement;
Welcome to the wintry edition of GPRO!
For a long time the commercial workers have felt they have too much work. Finally their labour union has got their wishes heard. It was agreed that the amount of concurrent sponsor negotiations will depend on the level of facility they need to work in. The workers have agreed to finish the ongoing negotiations, so the limit is only for starting new negotiations.
Good luck and happy racing! You being able to negotiate with only 3 sponsors, is related with one of your facility's level.

Hello, I am confused by the reaction of a sponsor. Here is what I did: - I negotiated with a sponsor named 'Wallie'. The values of the sponsor are 3/2/2/1/1/1. - Sponsor question 'What do you expect to achieve the next season', my answer: 'a low rank'. - The negotiations with Wallie were successful. The sponsor signed a contract after race 4 of the current season. - After race 4, I am no. 35 in season standings. - Initial value for satisfaction: 2
A sponsor has low expactations. I meet the expactations and do get an initial satisfaction value of 2 out of 7. So my question is: What do I need to do to get 6 or 7 as initial value for satisfaction ?
My guess is that the initial satisfaction value of a sponsor is derived from the season standings. But Jukka and Kevin have pointed out that this is NOT the case.

Results mean everything for current, signed, sponsors.
Consider signing and keeping sponsors as two different games. That'll get you started on the right path to figuring them out.

Please, you should not ask this on main forum. You will not and should not get an answer. Speak to your team mates. Not being horrible, but sponsors is a game defining area of a managers success or failure in his current path..you shouldn't expect help on the matter on main forums, and people shouldn't be willing to help either unless they want to privately - but not publicly.
Oliver, you need to work this out between yourself and your team I'm afraid.

I may have been a bit unaware how the sponsor happiness bar works, but it's definitely far from just straight race performance. However, expectation 2 is not the lowest of expectations, while your performance pretty much is. Even the low expectation sponsors expect something. The rest is for you and your team to find out.

Is it normal for sponsor negotiations to take forever? I have one that started at 26/7, and still is at 55%

Quote ( Diogo Abdalla @ September 12th 2018,14:58:52 ) Is it normal for sponsor negotiations to take forever? I have one that started at 26/7, and still is at 55% Yes it is. There are a number of factors, including how many negotiations you have going, how good your results are, as well as some game stats that have an impact.
|
|
|
It usually takes long time for sponsors to end negotiations, and it's something that shall be planned 2,3, even 4 seasons ahead, depending on the number of negotiations you have going, and the different effort you put into progressing in each one of them. But there is ways to slightly improve the speed of negotiations, depending on the level of your infrastructures, on your driver skills, etc. Besides that, negotiation speed increases or decreases also depending on your approach to every single race. The rest is for you to find out. ;)

This is part of the pay to win side of the game, if you are not a supporter, you will struggle continuously for sponsors.

There's no pay to win side to this game whatsoever.
There's a 'pay to have more data available that will speed up your learning curve' side, but in the long run everybody has the same chance of victory in gpro.

Can you elaborate in this?
There is no advantage for supporters other than a graph and some logging that can easily be done manually or with external tools.
I know many non supporters that are very efficient with sponsors.

yeah, Im seeing it. While I was negotiating with this and another one(that I lost), all my other sponsor contracts run out, except a shitty 200K monthly one. I have 3 negotiations ongoing, but its going to take a while for me to have any decent sponsor income again, even if I dont get beaten again for that one Im negotiating since july

Absolute Rubbish. Makes no difference, it is part of the management in the game. Diogo, totally ignore this crap.
