Pretty early days as only 1 half has been played in Men's and Women's but Day 1 tables

Overall scores --- and bear in mind "Best Possible" gets the choice of all with the hindsight of seeing the scores - I would say you will catch up.... but chances are you won't.
Still - it is nice to see what you could have.

Hey Alan,
I think Jason picked atleast one player almost 6 hours after the match started, so this can't count anymore ofcourse. Please have a look at this and adjust his score.

I tried to avoid anyone who had already played but might have missed some in a hurry. Alan, Request you to look at this and find a fair way out. I can change my picks if necessary but dont think that's an option right

I have no way of knowing which players/players that was and one player was one I had replaced alphabetically anyway. Do you know which one that was ?
Unfortunately I was not on my PC when play started so could not post but considering he is bottom of the overall table on Day 1 - right now unless I know which player it was I think I am going to let it stand this one time, unless there is massive objection from players

Thank you for this information guys as I was not sure what times here in England that the matches started and was away from my pc for some hours before I checked.
As the entry was posted after play had begun
Quote ( Alan Halford @ January 10th 2022,16:17:49 ) ENTRY DEADLINE In order to score maximum points, your entry MUST be in with me before the first ball is served in the competition concerned. Due to the complexity of timings across the globe, I WILL NOT accept any entries after the first ball is served whether the player has played or not.
Apologies Jason - but this time your complete entry will be NULL and VOID
Entries MUST be in before any play commences.

While we are on the subject of players
Ilya Ivashka (Group H) withdrew before any play so will be replaced by the lowest Ranked player in his group which is Benoit Paire
This affects
Alan Halford @Alex Martez (R4) @Simon Sgruner (R113) @Greg Tierney (P12)
Casper Ruud (Group B) withdrew before any play so will be replaced by the lowest Ranked player in his group which is Cameron Norrie
This affects
@Cameron Halsall (A32) @Jun Ho (A52)
This is in accordance with game rules
Quote ( Alan Halford @ January 10th 2022,16:17:49 ) Withdrawal of players Should a seeded player withdraw from the competition before he has completed the 1st round, where possible I will replace that player with the lowest player available from the same group.
It does not look as if this applies to any of the Women's Groups or non seeded players

oops in a rush and did not notice - sorry
Some things never change... both in this game and in RL... I am s*** at picking women
Well we have reached the end of the 3rd round for both Men and Women with a number of highly seeded players having been knocked out in both and some unlikely heroes still fighting away
MEN Cressy and Mannarino (France) with Kecmanovic (Serbia) who may not be there if Djokovic had played and WOMEN Anisimova and Keys (USA) with Cornet (France) and Kanepi (Estonia)
Men
Women
The Overall Table and it looks to be a race now between the top 3 probably as Mikko slips but Chris might have an outside chance if his players stay in although Adam looks to have the edge right now ...... but strange things have happened before , so it is not over till the "Fat lady sings" .... so they say
Sorry - was a bit busy yesterday and forgot to post results from Day 6
MEN
WOMEN
and finally the OVERALL Table wih Adam looking strong in the latter stages
We are now into Day 7 and have now completed the 4th round and move into the Quarter Finals
MEN's Table and Adam has a slender lead over Mikko followed closely by Chris
WOMEN's table where Pawel also has a slender lead over Aa with Claudio hot on their heels.
and finally the OVERALL Table where Adam has built a good lead over Alex with Chris and Keith close in contention.
The next table will not be Day 8 but will be on completion of the Quarter Finals - which should be Day 9.
Sorry guys - got a little behind - some results coming shortly
