Only 2 people in the waiting list, not enough to make a 4th league, and just adding them to other leagues might make them unbalanced, unless you had more points available at the start of the season

Keep it as it is. There's always the chance that last round can be processional, and I would assume in majority of cases it will be, but so what. The few times (if it even is few, could be quite a few) when there's something interesting, combining both last two submissions into one would make it more of a lottery.
For example in the C-league, even by playing to his best game*, Sergio has now the power in his mighty hands to decide whether he wants to give the promotion to Adrian or Ivelin :D That may still be lottery for Adrian/Ivelin but a tactical choice for Sergio lol.
*of course Jun also kind of has the power to decide whether Adrian or Ivelin is given the promotion, but that would involve Jun not playing to his best game == Iveling bribing him with some Alter Bridge songs or so :p

Results aren't coming yet... deadline hasn't passed and still waiting for a submission or two.
But just wanted to say... Ricardo is about to score 16 PTS with only 16 Scores spent. This will set the record for best title-winning season in the game... INCLUDING the FGC which kicked the game off, in which Mike won (a 9 game season!) with 16 PTS and by spending 17 Scores.
1.00 Scores spent per Point is a record that will be tough to beat.

Cup Conclusion
All four semifinalists seemed to choose the only truly reasonable option available to them. And as a result, Ricardo claims the trophy... making him the number one seed for next season.

Ricardo claims his first title after winning the league by four points. It's a strong showing that will benefit him in the first published four-season performance ranking.
Eduardo, Davi, and Mike will hold on to their places in the top tier of the game. Kyle, Marvin, and Greg couldn't quite hold on to the ship this season and will fall back to the second tier.
And, for the second season running, the defending champion will be double-relegated. What a ruthless game it is.

Igor wins the second second tier by virtue of having more Scores used against than Xavier, who somehow mind-power intimidated his opponents into only spending 8 against him. Tim also does enough to book a place back in the top tier.
Kai Wen and George will be the two that remain unmoved, with one barely missing promotion and the other barely avoiding relegation.
Mikko, Bert, and Dion will be left wondering if there were opportunities they missed. Nonetheless, they'll have to battle it out for the double-promotion next season.

Adrian falls sort of promotion simply because he didn't have enough spent against him. Jun also will stay where he is.
Four points separated double-promotion from dropping to the waitlist. Shannon will be removed completely, meaning Liviu will be the one to drop to the waitlist. Ivelin, Ania, and Onur will climb one division and keep themselves safely away from dropping to the waitlist next season. It was a close thing, but the S1 champion will gain back one of the divisions he lost.
And finally, Sergio claims the top honors, promoting all the way into the top tier for the first time.

I'm usually pretty good with naming things... but I need a new name for the Waitlist and am looking for suggestions. It's a waitlist for new players, but also a place for players bumped from the third tier. It could remain "the Waitlist" but just curious if anyone has better ideas.

Overall, Four-Season Performance Rankings
Calculated by PTS earned in a season x1.2(PSL), x1.0(II), and x0.8(III)
Remarkably, there are NO ties on points in these rankings...
One thing tracking this has told me, is that even after four editions, no player has played all of them at the highest tier. In fact, if you don't count the FGC, Onur is the only player to spend S1, S2, and S3 all in the same tier (which he has now promoted from).
As you would expect, the three players with the fewest seasons under their belts are at the bottom, and the ten players of the FGC are at the top. Notably, however, Marvin is by far the strongest performer of the first three seasons who did not participate in the FGC. But given he spent about 10 seasons playing the forerunner to this game (ISL), this is not a major surprise.
What COULD be a surprise to you, however, is realizing that Xavier is top of the rankings. Runner-up in the FGC and promoted strongly in the first season after barely relegating from the PSL is enough to claim top spot. Mike had a similar trajectory after doing the same last season, having won the FGC.
Third, and climbing there from ninth after a massive points haul this season, is Ricardo. He has now almost entirely made up for his last place finish in the FGC. And as these rankings total the last four seasons, the FGC results will drop from the rankings at the end of next season. In that case, Ricardo will lose only 8.4 points, while the top two will each lose 19.2. Thus, if he can avoid the champions' curse, you might expect him to claim top spot at the conclusion of next season. But that has proved to be a big "IF" in recent seasons.
Not much for major position changes happened elsewhere. But we will find Kaspar and Cezary added to the list next season.

Mmm, being the top 1 in Score League Performance Rankings.. I don't think is good for me for next season, other managers could spent more points against me ;)

Maybe "Challengers", "Wild Cards" or "Amateurs"?
On another note, I'll be up against a former champion in the Cup, and the winner goes up against another. :(

Happy to be the first ever winner of both the Cup and the League :P
I will do my best to not relegate next season, lets see if things go well :D
As for the name, I don't really mind anything that has been proposed so far or even Waitlist either.
