Oh no, I mean I wasn't worried about that in the last couple seasons since I was signing most sponsors in 7 to 9 races.
Considering I could only negociate with one sponsor it was pretty straightforward for me.
However I wouldn't do that if I had nego spots or worse finishing positions. Especially since there are always a boatload of sponsors available every race and that you don't lose that much in between them
Can't fight for a sponsor when you know this one is going to stay locked at 100% for a long time too.

Good morning - from the UK - Sergey, you look set for a good season.

I know it's all meant to be FOBY, but the fact that I have qualified 13 seconds behind the pole position is only due to the difference in cars by 3 levels and difference of 18 in our drivers OA or could I have done better and I need to learn more about car settings?

Hi Tymoteusz, I am no expert but I think the main differences in time on the grid are due to Drivers OA, Tyre choice and how much fuel you have in Q2 (Strategy). If you are stopping once then your fuel load will be heavier so your time will be slower.
Look at the top four in our group and their drivers are all so much better (OA) than yours or mine so I think that makes a very big difference.
It is all about improving your driver but you also need to remember that improving too fast (training certain areas) could mean that you go over the 110 OA so you can not extend his contract if that happens. It all has to be planned.

Next season I will make my push for promotion. Wanting another extension on my driver then a couple of points and start building for next season then.

Experience helps - Looks like a good tactical season, saving money then setting up in the final races ready for a push next season. Well done

Well done Thank you, but that is not a good strategy, you need to always push for 5-10 when retaining to get the most out of Sponsors in order to build up and promote. I simply don't have the motivation to play this game like I used to so I'm lagging in Amateur for eternity.

Congratulations guys.. It wasn't easy out there tonight I was very happy I made it on the podium and the perfect Christmas present for the team.
|
|

Gotta love that race, it's never a cheap one!

|

Quite a few Engine killers this season :P
|
|

I was surprised to get to the podium because I thought my car setup was totally messed but this is okay. I have no aim to promote this season but it seems to me this season is good enough for me. I also congrats to you Matt to reach the podium. Engine killing is the purpose of these seasons. This race is wetty a bit and not expecting any major changes. Good luck to all and happy Christmas everyone!

Fülöp Csorba I feel in this group your already promoted unless you go negative.. as I suspect lots will start avoiding if previous seasons are anything to go by so it will be hard to drop out the top four but maybe you get lucky any others put on the afterburners brilliant race last time out tho well done your having a great season along with Neto :)
I tried my best but had to be slighty more carful on CT because of the tyres and carried a little more fuel but safety was my goal nothing else really
The top ten here can be very competitive here with great car packages but if they ease off it gives the others in danger a chance at salvation and maybe me to break into the top ten with less effort more often. we shall see
oooh yes wet race not so great for my driver but I cant push as need to be loving with my engine after Indy :P
All the best to one and all and a very happy Christmas

It was an interesting race and managed to stay close to podium but unfortunately got a defect which killed my chance to stay on podium position and grab some points. At the very least my driver motivation not vent too high so I could extend his contract and train at least and got a little money to repair too. Better luck next time!

Another engine killer lol

Congrats for your podium Matthew!
|
|
|
Thank you buddy but I should really be thanking you! If you had lined up on the grid I would have been pushed out :) Its always encouraging to podium tho keep the sponsors happy
Makes up for my mistake with fuel at mexico :P
Best of luck in the next one

Welcome everyone..
looking forward to a new exciting season in Ama 62 and to getting back on track and racing again and hopefully scoring few points on occasions but no promotion ambitions here..
but its always fun to see who wants the promotion spots and the battles at the top end of the field or at the bottom for survival.
Wishing you all a great season
see you on track soon
