Well I run low risks, my total risks never add up to higher then 20 (Monza for example I used 0,10,10,0 risks) this means I can use parts for multiple races and Im not having to change them after every race due to wear, this saves me money and when I do eventually need to change a part I can afford to upgrade to the next level.
Ahhh i see, well that leads me to this question...the lower you run risks, the less wear it puts on your parts?
That would explain quite a bit and will drastically change how i approach the races. :o
Of course. If your constantly gunning your car around the track, trying to over take or defend against those with faster cars then your parts are going to wear rapidly compared to someone who is taking it relatively easy and being kind to their car.

Wow, i honestly did not think of it. I always thought of it as how fast you want your driver to push, didnt realise it had a big effect on your car parts.
Thanks Kevin, you probably have saved my rookie season :)
It is exactly that, how hard you want your driver to push but the consequence of your driver pushing hard is he is also pushing the car and its parts hard.
I started the same, I think I got a podium finish in my 2nd or 3rd race but I was pushing way too hard. Yes people can beat me with lvl 1 cars and high risks but being promoted with a lvl 1 car and just a few million in the bank will mean certain relegation next season. People have to look to promote with a car that is going to be competitive and money in the bank for the next season. I may have a good car and money but I too have made a newbie mistake and will lose my driver in 2 races time as I didnt extend his contract in time. I will still only be able to employ a driver with OA85 max so will be promoting with an inferior driver.

Well if thats the case i am gonna have a miserable season next...unless i stay in rookie, which is only likely if i stay in the negative :o

That's helped me aswell Kevin, so cheers for the advice! It looks like my downfall has been running too higher risks in the races.
I can't see myself getting promoted next season so at least i'll be a lot more prepared next time around.

Glad to help.
One of the most annoying things though is knowing you have the better car and better setup only to keep finishing down the order coz people are running high risks but over the course of the season that just dont have the money to continually compete as this seasons results show it would just be nice to hear my National Anthem

And I thought that 40 second technical pitstop was going to rob me of my first ever win.

Good luck to those still fighting for position in Amateur next season, im giving up my spot as i will only end up in Rookie the season after.
Typical i finally get myself in a promotion position and i'm not going to go up because i'll be in debt...
Why the heck was i so slow?!?!
I had one error which cost me 6 seconds but finish nearly 4 minutes off the leader! Given my other races, that was surprisingly pathetic.
This game has done nothing but confuse me more and more. i have got no idea how to do well here.
The fact I finished 2mins off of the winner Im guessing he ran with quite high risks
Good luck to all in the final race and congratulations Kevin on the title!
Ill be back in this group next season, so all others that failed to promote, cya next season...all people moving to amateur, best of luck for the rest of your career! :)
Not only the title but a Cup win too.
Good luck to all next season, hopefully I can handle myself in amatuer

By the looks of it i'm going up... Oh dear i'm going to get killed next season.

Hey all :)
Any Gpro regulars here? Any total newbies?
I'm having a couple of testing seasons for my team, so dont expect any competition from me :)
Good luck to you all.
