You could have at least tried to give this thread a proper title and first post....now it's all bad, just like the question you've asked.

Equal - they both dominated their era.

But if Hamilton can keep winning he is clearly going to hold all the records and be better, statistically.

What a strange comparison.

I may be a little biased being from the UK, so sorry to all the haters, but I think Hamilton every single time.

Their brushed steel dimmer switches just look brilliant in any new-build and I fitted a couple of them in a customer's german-style kitchen not too long ago and they were over the moon. The screwless etrium bronze 2 gangs also work really well with a nice cream wall finish, and are very reasonably priced. https://www.hamilton-litestat.com/media/5516/2.jpg?anchor=ce...

Not used a Schumacher car battery charger but I've heard great things about them from European friends. I'm sure they're the dogs bollocks but I've got this tiny portable one from Genius which can do 10-12 jumps and it was cheap as chips, so I doubt I'd ever need a Schumacher product.

Again though, not sure why we're comparing socket and switch plates with car battery chargers.

E: added image for context. Beautiful switch plate.

I would have said the exact opposite
Schumacher had Hill, Villeneuve, Hakkinen, Coulthard, Raikkonen, Ralf, Montoya, Barrichello, Alonso all who were capable of beating him at some point in his career. He probably had the best car in 94,95,00,01,02,03,04
Hamilton had the best car in 07,08,10,14,15,16,17,18,19,20. Throughout his career he has only really had to deal with Raikkonen, Massa, Vettel, Webber, Button, Alonso and Rosberg. Hamilton has won pretty much half the races between 14-20, with only Rosberg ever coming close to him, and Vettel for a short period. Schumacher did his dominance in 00-04 while having to compete with all the drivers i mentioned minus Hill and Villeneuve

Am i saying Hamilton doesn't deserve the record, no, because he is a great driver, is he better than Schumacher, debatable i would say not, has his car helped him a lot, yes, maybe a little more than Schumacher, but both are probably equally as good as eachother, but comparing different era's is foolish. Would Schumacher have done the same as Hamilton did, or would Hamilton do the same that Schumacher did in eachothers era's, who knows

Besides, Jim Clark and Senna were much better anyway

Not enough choices... If we consider only F1 drivers, you would have to add Fangio, P. Hill, Stewart, Prost, Senna...

Hard to make a choice. Not the same area, we aren't be able to compare...

Take Schumacher or Hamilton in the 50'... In their first crash, they would be dead... And nobody would know these drivers...

What ? You mean the one so full of himself that when facing imminent loss he'd rather crash to opponent than admit loss

Character ? Humility ??

But tbh Hamilton is a similar kind of "Contract Champion", so the reply to OP question is: Neither

The thing is... both of them have had Contract guaranteed Champions for so long they have started to believe in their invincibility and immortality themselves (Much like Vettel was not long ago)

That being said, they are good or even great drivers, no denying that.

But... IF one is looking for a best driver, one might need to look further back...

Maybe to the time when Senna and The Professor Prost were going head to head at it... Although Senna did resort into similar tricks as Schumi
Or even further back when the drivers really drove cars instead of computers
