Perez he is the up and coming driver in the championship and ferrai need that and also at a smaller price than Button, Hamilton, Vettel, Webber etc

I already asked why would he leave his team and go to Ferrari. Because ... well, read what Phil said above.

I sincerely hope Ferrari don't hire Webber. He's got a few years yet and in Ferrari he'll get a big bold X next to his name, just like Fisichella, if he goes for it. :(

I think that Masa will replace by Sergio Peres or Jaime Alguersuari, but is more problably that the driver will be Sergio Perez, becuase he is a fantastic, young driver

JEAN ALESI FTW!!!!

definately many people who like F1 would love to see jean '' the human ABS'' alesi back. crazy jean is still probably one of the 3-4 purest talented drivers ever but also the most unlucky driver ever.latest example indy500.

i think massa will stay eventually, just because his bad form gives alonso more confidence and ferrari team know how to play this phycological games.

I still don't see anyone replacing him this year. Perez isn't dumb enough to jump ships halfway through a season. He's said that multiple times.

Perez has already stated he does not want to join Ferrari.
There are rumours that Sebastian Vettel has already signed a contract for a Ferrari move in 2014.
A quote from Webber: "It's like someone clicks a switch in May and says, 'Oh, Mark's off to Ferrari,'"
"I'm used to this stuff ... I'd say 80 percent of what you hear is bulls**t." (note: that quote is from Mark Webber, not the experienced journalist below)
One of F1's most experienced journalists has said a Robert Kubica comeback is nearly impossible.

So that rules out a few drivers, the Vettel rumours were quite surprising.

do you really belive evey thing you read lol sebs has a 5 year contract with red bull , yes i've no doute he has a pre contract with ferriar kimi had one when he was in a sauber but had to wait for michal to give way first , was the same for nando and will be the same for seb but NOT till nando says hes off so 2014, no more like 2016

no he didn't say that just that he wouldn't move this year . i.e half way throw the year

if massa dirvers like he did this weekend come monza GP he will have another year contract but tbh im bored of talking and hearing about poor massa now every year its the same if it happen it will be Perez and its as simple as that if you have any doute of this take a look at massa when he was driveing for sabuer he was part of Ferraris young driveing program as soon as rubens got the boot he took his place so it will be 100% the same story when the time come with perez so its more a case of when not if, maybe 2013 maybe 2014 but when it happen it will be at the start of the year not half way thorow and massa will more likely or not leave f1 and go to indy car or stay with Ferrari and race in la mans or someother thing alone them lines just like fizzy dose

I believe Webber will take the step to Ferrari his not to happy at Red Bull being put 2nd best to Vettel all the time, and his friendship with Alonso is very strong. BIG competitors next year if he does make the switch.

Massa is good, but b'cos of that accident in Hungary 2009, he lacks confidence in his car now. Like Button, he only performs well when he has confidence in his car. If he is replaced, don't be surprised if either Jules Bianchi or Sergio Perez are selected.

Nobody else is ready yet unless Ferrari bring in somebody like Webber from outside their team, Massa is finding his form again and imo he is the best man for the job right now, Alonso is simply the chosen one.

Massa has been showing good pace lately and hopefully his form continues to grow for the sack of the team and himself. If you Ferrari wants a replacement Webber would be the man: great expertise in car development (as you can see if RB atm), gets along with Alsonso and likes 1 year contracts

I agree but its confidence not after the crash. Its how Ferrari treat him! He lacked in confidence because by now, its not the crash but the team treating him like he's there for nothing. I still think Felipe should win the championship in '08

Surely now he has to go?? He's a nice guy but look at the stats he has 11 points Alonso has 121ish and two wins and other podiums!

Massa has had his chance time for him to move on... He cabbot stay beyond this season surely?

He drove a good race today, was up with Alonso until the bad luck hit with the safety car
