AJ Foyt was the quickest to find ;)
Marc Gene, had to check between him and Wurz and Pizzonia et co but was quite confident last two were present in 05-07.

And contrary to everyone else, I had Foyt in first, but Gene gave me a problem because I knew Wurz only retired in 2007.

Haha yeah I thought it would trick a few people as the phrasing is the same as for Fittipaldi, who won F1 titles :P

I had Fittipaldi and Gene quick but took ages to make sure Foyt was right. I didn't want to screw up :D

The first letters of every answer so far in this Race of Champions (for Q1 ONLY the impossible answer that no-one guessed) can be rearranged to make the name of an F1 team. Which team is it?

Thank you Jon for hosting and taking the time to prepare all the question! Those races were a highlight of the day usually :)
I líke the attention to detail that the 7 previous answers make an anagram of Toleman by the way, just to be clear :)

Even though it was my first and only season potentially I had lots of fun! Thanks for hosting Jon, this must annoy the other half with the fact you have to dedicate lots of time and an hour each time to do it

So folks, that's the final QRO race for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time.
Reason being that the amount of time and effort it takes to run this game is significant (~2 hours to research all questions and ensure they are different from previous heats, ~1 hour to run the race, ~1 hour to do all reminders/updates for each race) - 4 hours per race is so much effort, given that we don't normally have more than 10 qualifiers.
Compare that to e.g. F1 Revisited, which takes me a similar amount of time per race (actually less than that), but we regularly have more than 3 times the amount of players. I am aware that a big part of this is the fact that QRO demands that everyone is online at the same time, which means that timezones, RL and general forgetfulness causes issues.
All that said, thanks to everyone who played this season and made the effort feel even somewhat worth it - glad to see all the messages of support.
Anyway - it's been a really fun season and I'm glad I brought the game back. For now though, QRO will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
That said, I may well bring back another type of F1 Trivia game at some point sooner...we shall see :)
