Yeah there will always be someone complaining about tires. Guys on Avonns deserved a little something after first two races. :> 20 degrees dry next race and everyone will lose their right to complain. :>

I have been asked to play in the nations game which means I need to score strongly. So yes I will try to promote going forward. From there I will likely drop back down into Pro and rebuild some more.

Top 4 in the group have all different tyre compounds. Interesting.

Very interesting. This group is very strong looking at cars and drivers, 3-4 of us would have easily won majority of other Pro groups this season but we are stacked here. :) Alex has easily the best package in all of Pro right now.

Yes, I hate it when we are all fighting for promotion and it is difficult for some people to pull back. Initially I was going to hold off and just build in PRO but others asked me to step up and help the nations game so I did not see a big difference in going up to Master (getting a free sponsor) and then back down again to PRO, where I will get my real, long term driver.
I know this will hurt some persons and I do not want to have done that but I am also trying to be open about what I am doing. It is interesting that we all have such different packages but maybe that is what will make it interesting.
I can say that if there is a player who is uncertain in their promotion that pulling back and not burning your account down in what will be a tough field should be done sooner rather than later. No problem in racing in those races where you can do well, like Sagar did today (race 6).

So probably a 5 horse race for 3 promo spots (Currently I am considering myself) that too on 5 different tire brands :D
Four horses and a little horse that still needs milk and to learn how to jump

For whomever might be on the sponsor Fondamental, I am on it and will run it off the board. Just letting you know so you do not lose any more sponsorship than you have to.
This sounds like a good bit of fun coming up. I wonder how many of us will burn our accounts to the ground trying to promote. Almost no use in going up to master if your package is worn away. Still, for some getting to master is a notch on their bucket list so I can understand it.

I do not think adding a friend onto that sponsor is going to help whomever at all. I am not fooled that easily guys. Try to keep up if you want to waste your negotiations.

We can do what we see fit. :-) What Alex is saying might be a good, friendly tip or it might be a deception for all we know. There's no rule against it. ;-)

We don't. But I believe it is a good idea to avoid unnecessary competition on sponsors in Pro. That could save all of us time and process.

Looking at the pro qualification standings and it looks like p14 is a bit of a meat grinder. 4 inside the top 10 of Q1+Q2 and I'm right outside at 16. P fun.

This group is quite strong. If you manage to survive here you can consider yourself a decent manager.

I missed out on grand chelem by 2 seconds on the first stint. I definitely didn't aim for it, but since there was a good chance to get it, I feel kinda sad. ;-)
And BTW. to whom it may concern, I'm on Marelli Magneti sponsor and I'm already ahead in negotiations.

I was not so much claiming the sponsor as pointing out the obvious and letting people save further losses....Making you lose more sponsor negotiations does nothing to really help me. I am not worried about this being a case of letting others off easy. I am over 25% ahead of the next closest person so why play the game.
It should be pretty obvious that any promoter will go for good sponsors during their rein of power, so people going on sponsors like these should be aware that other promoters are going to go on them and they will be hard to win.
It is a strong group and I wonder if it will force a lot of players to lose their drivers due to OA signing problems and perhaps make it temporarily weak next season. Then again a group is normally strong because of good managers and there are lots of them here right now.
