You're welcome to your opinion I have no problem with that. But, when some one is told many times by different ppl what is wrong and they continually get slapped down, I don't think how long someone has been in the forums as anything to do with it.

It's all good. Next time just be a little bit more accepting of answers you don't like when several ppl are telling you what went wrong, in this case nothing was wrong. This very same subject has been brought up several times and in fact just a few days ago. Best of luck going forward.

From race analysis:
48 x:xx.xxx 36 Rain Rain 28° 67% Car problem
49 x:xx.xxx 36 Rain Rain 28° 67% Car problem
50 - 36 Rain Rain 28° 67% Dropped out
So I finished 49 laps out of 53. 53*0.9=47.7 laps. I should have gotten the full pay for 38th place, but only got half:

yeah but when the leader was at lap 50 you were lapped a few times and the lap that you were on was your last one as far as the game is concerned. I know your car went around the track a few more times but that was still part of the same lap when the leader of your race was at lap 50 and you dropped out.

Nope. It's from race analysis, not from live viewer. In live viewer I was 4 laps behind, and abandoned as the victor passed the checkered flag.
If what you say is true, in race analysis I should have less than 49 laps finished, with lap times.

You were 8 laps behind.
If you don't cover 90% of the race distance (as determined in the race summary)

OK, explain it like I'm 5 years old and with the IQ of a tomato. In live viewer, when the one on first position was in the final lap, and I was 4 laps behind I was still racing. A bit before or after he finished the race I abandoned. In the race analysis page is stated that I finished 49 laps out of the 53. How come I only finished 45, and why there are 4 more laps displayed as finished by me in the RA?

Yeah I understand, but it isn't race analysis that matters but race summary. It is quite confusing but imagine all cars are on the same lap, some cars are far behind the leader though so if lap time is 1:30:00 and leader is at lap 50, if you are 3 minutes behind leader that would be displayed as lap 48. But as far as the engine is concerned you are at lap 50, it is just displayed as 48 completed laps because you are that far behind. So when your car crashes at that lap, final lap count is 48, though your car will go around the track 2 more times, till you hit lap 50 and you will have time for those laps, but as far as the game engine is concerned, when leader hits lap 51 you are no longer on the track. I hope that makes some amount of sense.

OK, I get it. For actual time of abandon disregard what the race analysis says, only check the summary. It's strange at best.

Oh I agree with you that it is strange, there have been a few topics on that but it is classified mostly as a non issue. It doesn't come up that often but for sure you feel cheated when it does.
