I am new to forum use but my suggestion is to have a pit now button that can be used once per race.
This would be an added extra for all of us who watch the races live, it would benefit if you are close to pit stop and want to try an undercut or are in the lead and want to react to others around you,
I have brought this up in the last race in team chat and the guys there like the idea.
Please give me some input and tell me if you think this would work or not.

Not a problem. As a heads-up, just make sure to look at the wiki, as well as searching the forums. They can be helpful tools to see what the community has discussed before, as well as why it might / might not work. Also, reading over those two can also save you lots of hassle from others on the forums :)
